I thought coilovers were upwards of £500 and you feel rabbit sh*t in the road when you drive over it.Springs sound good
you can set them up like that if you want, you can set the ride height and damping rate up to suit yourself.
yeah safety my arse. Why not outside the entrance to a playing field or school? Its totally scandalous and makes my blood boil.
A Mate of mine at work got done doing 49 in a 40, not sure what his indcated speed was but I think 172 are pretty close to indicated speed arent they?

And that oil change will cost you £68 all in!! Just had mine done.
£68 for an oil change? That is absolutely scandalous. A fekkin mobil 1 change should be no more than £35. Bloody reno.
fcuk running in mate give it a thrash. I did that with mine and it only just now starting to open up a bit and sounding really rorpy (is that a word?) with 2.5k on the clock.
yeah might as well spend less cash and get some juicy coilovers and it would be better than a standard cup (which is not that much different to a 172 anyway)
If your spending cash on the 1.2 for insurance reasons or whatever why not buy a nice bodykit and make it look a bit more individual? I dont understand what the point is in making a 172 replica (although that silver one was nice someone put on the site with the 17s on). Apart from the interior...
fuses are on the passanger side m8. Open the passanger door and they are in a little panel against the side of the dash. Aircon fuses are near the bottom.
not sure what the year of your car is m8 but on the new ones they are on the passenger side of the dasboard. You need to stand outside the car and open the passenger door and they are behind a flap there. The aircon ones are near the bottom (I know this cos mine blew!)
lol the 172 vs cup is always a good one. At the end of the day its down to choice. Personally I think the 172 is a better all round package and the sup is for you if its purely speed and driving your bothered about. I chose the 172 cos ABS, alcantara trim and aircon for the £1000 ish difference...
wouldnt bother with main dealers. I looked EVERYWHERE for the best deal and the best on the road price I got was 12,500 (watch out for motorpoint as they add about £500 to their prices including a PDI fee!! Anyway I got mine from thecarpeople.co.uk but they are in wakefield miles away from...
those golfs are LHD import jobbies, theres a guy near me has one. They do look really nice in the metal. Dont have any info on rapidness of the standard one tho.
Usual BS you get from these places! It drives me mad. Sometimes they just say stuff to make themselves look knowlegable. Unicar in Leeds and RAM audio in wakefield are both places that do this EVERY time you go in. If anyone knows of a place that you can go that doesnt BS you all the time let me...
yeah mg metro,mg maestro, Escort RS turbos (old shape ones) just think they are cack, Not a fan of the new MG range either, purely cos rover have wasted a perfect opportunity to produce a range of truly sporting motors by just fitting spoilers to rovers and giving them a paint job.
