Just to add to this the standard 182 seats with airbags are circa 32kg, the recaros are more around the 25kg mark, a good fibre-glass bucket weighs in at under 10kg so moving from standard to buckets you can shed upwards of 45kg.
along comes a good example.

If a private individual mapped your car for the cost of a .cal license or even to make some quick cash on top what could you do if this happened - sweet FA.
Yup, not denying its a user friendly system - however search "RStuner problem" or such like on here, you'll be suprised how many of these "muppets" there are.
But at the end of the day you pays your monies, you makes you choice.:)
All bang for buck arguments aside this above is a risky angle too take and too give as advice. At the end of the day you are allowing someone to carry out work on your car without any sort of guarantee or protection for the service carried out if they are non traders/part of an above board...
Positive only on the inside wheel though surely? Not a bad thing if that's true, however assume that the OEM top mounts are designed with the Renault OEM geometry: the cup pack springs being the extreme of this setup - once coiled and lowered 40+mm surely this would impair that original...
The standard seats weight in around 30kg each. A good set of fibreglass one piece buckets can weigh as little as 9kg each with subframes - mine do!
That's a 40kg aprox saving!!
They were mine once upon a time ;)

Mine now ;)
I had exactly the same thing with my 182. The history book stated it had had the 5 yr/ 72k service: belts etc and was even stamped up for it. Although the invoice declared that there were not any belts done. Owner swore blind that they had been done, so I phoned the dealer who confirmed he opted...
interior on the Twingo RS is scary as fook. Seats are possibly made from Granite they are so large!
But something tells me your not after the seats ;)
Gear stick surround looks to be a different shape?
Tried to stick with 200's in my coiled 182 @ brands hatch. Very very dialed cars handling wise, exceptional for out of the box it seems & a real step up from the 197s that were out.
Had the choice between driving a 200 or the R26R so I can't really give you a drivers comparison I'm afraid ;)
wrong tree ;)
The carbon canister is on the other side of the engine in front of the wheel / behind the fog light. (incidentally it makes a ticking noise - buts it comes from the drivers side front wheel arch intermittently.)
You may have had the acoustic valve removed though? Its a hard...
You don't adjust the steering wheel - the adjustment at the wheels can lead the steering wheel to be out of position when driving, they clamp the steering wheel and then adjust the wheels to suit.
