Hello mate :)
Welcome to Wax Wars.
I'm waiting for them to get some more in stock - I'm going to use it over Winter I think. As nice as Vintage is, I like the idea of topping up quickly and easily with the Jeffs
It's spot on tbh - I got sent a sample earlier in the year. Ezyme, I think it's £200 per pot, but it's 250ml, so not too bad value wise.
It didn't stay on for long though
I hope that's not you believing 'marketing tripe'? ;)
It's a wax, it doesn't know what car it's going on. You be believing colour charging next :)
And yes, it is more durable than BOS.
DON'T use Red Mist for 48 hours at least, as it will eat through the wax layer.
I'd avoid it all together tbh and use Swissvax's Quick Finish or Nano Express :)
As above, get:
- Grey Sheepskin Wash Mitt
- Halfords Waffle Weave Drying Towel
- AG Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
- AG Super Resin Polish
- AG Extra Gloss Protection
- AG Vinyl and Rubber Care (for trim and tyres)
You should be able to get all of that for £30... ish
The shampoo is superb - it won't strip wax at the correct dilution
The 'Polish and Wax' will be like SRP or any other AIO - it will clean the paint and leave some protection behind, like Zymol Cleaner Wax in Halfords
It depends on the marring, sometimes it can be removed by a non abrasive paint cleaner, but this can be a by product of the texture of the pad used too.
So for example I once had some slight marring from a drying towel, but Lime Prime Lite on a Sonus SFX3 pad removed it, as the pad itself will...
Awesome attention to detail on the interior - will you come and do mine please!! I've never spent more than about 20 minutes on my own lol.
Kev, you used Serious Performance Paint Cleanser didn't you, before the Z2? That would have cleaned the paint up a treat, so would have removed any...
The hard waxes do seem to last a touch longer, but I certainly wouldn't have bought BA if you already have OC.
You should give Vics Concours a try, on top of Clearkote RMMG - looks epic on oranges and reds.
Saphir or Glasur.
I doubt many people on here have even tried Glasur, but it's probably the best value of the premium waxes and nails nearly everything except for Titanium on durability <£200.
Concours offers a bit more bling, but it isn't nearly as durable, and is £160.
Also, you can get 10%...
The paint is soft, not thin, so you don't have to be toooo cautious with it, and it's a bit of a sweeping statement that 'all Jap cars' are soft, it's simply not always the case.
If you are experienced, and it's not correcting, then try the next pad up with the same compound and see how you get...
Why do people assume you can't drive your car AND keep it clean? LOL.
I've spent over £4k in 18 months on cleaning stuff - I have issues :
For tar remover, buy this:

PLUS, the biggest thing, which everyone seems to ignore/forget is that you only have LIMITED clearcoat. ANYONE can probably remove swirls/scratches with a machine polisher, the skill is in using the least aggressive combination possible to remove the smallest amount. Also, if you haven't owned...
