You can get them from K-Tec or Demon Tweeks aswell as lots of other places. I got mine from DT and ChavyBoy fitted them for me, only a few hours job. I didnt see that didnt own a Clio ! That changes everything ! Pugs are sh*te ! LOL ! Just kidding mate ! We are a friendly bunch...

They lower it around 10mm so not much at all but it definitely makes it stiffer going around corners, I am happy with the outcome as are all the other people who fitted them as far as I know. Not seen anything bad mentioned about them.

You are talking around £1000 for those 3 mods then ? Maybe a little more ?

George, that is what I have always been led to believe that if you get an exhaust and IK then it is always best to sort out a chip too. What sort of bhp increase can you expect from an exhaust, IK and chip ?

Have I been misinformed about the Viper then ? Does that run lean do you know ? What sort of power gains can you expect from the BMC then ? Can you feel the difference ?

How much does it cost jon ? Also, does it cause the same problem as the Viper where the car runs too lean so you have to get it chipped so that it is setup properly ?

It will vary from car to car but there are a few people who have had them 0-60 tested at events like Trax, etc. I remember reading a post where someones brother did it in around 6.6 in his MKII 172.

Just about to leave to take the 172 for its first service. Been going through my documents and there is no service book. Will they be able to give me a new service book at the dealers ? It is the1st service so the book would have been empty anyway. Not a problem is it ?

Good work Iain, they have to make it hard for you tho dont they when this should have been sorted days ago ! As for compo, I have never had any dealings like this so I would not like to hazard a guess, I am sure there must be enough fault there somewhere for at least a try.

They are standard on all MKII 172s mate so they should not be down as an optional extra, it is worth checking the invoice tho I should imagine.

I really cannot understand the delay on this. If the chassis number gives evidence that there should be Xenon headlights on the car and there are not then what is all the fuss about ? All a bit long winded isnt it !?!?! night.icon, I think the outcome was that someone must have taken them...

No way should you have to HPi a pre-registered car with just 10 miles on it ??? Iain, post some pics of your wiring, you got us all on the edge of our seat ! ;) With regard to the alarm, isnt the alarm fitted at the docks on all imports anyway and NOT in the build factory ?
