In today's Novatech email newsletter they are advertising Vista Home Premium 32bit DVD OEM for £69.33 incl VAT. (Not the upgrade)
It gives you the licensing blurb but appears anyone can buy it.

Slab is the Gnome one.
Here's the SuSe KDE one for Ubuntu:

NOTE: Beryl forum is currently down (again!) so you'll have to look later. The SuSe KDE menu is known as Kickoff.
It seems to have a lot more customisation options than Gnome, still finding my way around it to be honest.
That menu in the screenshot is the SuSe menu, you can also have it in Ubuntu but it's not as quick and it's shorter and wider.
I prefer the SuSe menu over the standard KDE menu.
The tabs...
It's that time again to dig up an old screenshot thread ;)
I fancied a change as I've been running Ubuntu for over a year, so here's openSuSe 10.2 (KDE)
Another Pipex customer here, can't get the free phone calls as they aren't f**king available to existing customers who regrade! b******s.
Have actually complained about this, awaiting a reply.
You aren't understanding.
Use Limewire to SEARCH for Limewire Pro and download it. They weren't telling you to do the official upgrade.
Anyway, stop knicking stuff and get your cash out! You wouldn't walk into Tesco and steal your weeks shopping.... or would you?
Yeah Orange are crap with existing customers.
My contract expired in april 06 I think it was but to get a decent new handset they wanted cash off me, so I called to see if they could do me a deal and basically got told no!
When I called them back to tell them I was leaving they didn't do...
Has anyone got this game or know of a problem with it?
If I go into controller and re-select a controller profile then play a stage then the rumble works for perhaps 10 seconds and it's very, very minimal then seems to turn off.
My pad is working fine as when I change the rumble strength it...
Exactly some things don't have a point at all, they just get done because they can be done.
Many of the effects in Beryl you would not use day to day or even ever but they are available because they can be!
I've got a Thermaltake Xaser III (super tower) - the steel version, 17kg - it's no fun lugging that around lol
Moved house 3 times since owning it and regretted buying it every time!
I wish I'd forked out on the extra for the aluminium one.
To be fair, Windows Defender is advertised as protecting against spyware, it doesn't mention viruses.
In fact if you check the site it says "spyware protection for free"
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
If it did protect against viruses the antivirus...
No.
Beryl is not included on the Live CD and cannot be installed or run ontop of it.
Try Sabayon Linux, it does has Beryl on the Live CD.

openSuSe 10.2 has a Live DVD, it does not include an installer.
Even though I am an Ubuntu user, I think you would be more impressed with SuSe than Ubuntu "out of the box"

Ubuntu as will all distros is easy to configure for eye candy but personally I think the...

Due to Pipex pissing about and cancelling our voice service with them and being unable to reconnect us (problems with BT) we are now back on b*****d BT.
Does anyone know of / can anyone recommend a VOIP system that is not expensive and does not require any software installing? (If any linux...
^ the Linux community doesn't use sidebars... there are desklets available but no sidebars (that I know of) so don't blame us for crappy windows features, they didn't copy us! ;)
I don't want to start a huge debate but this is why us Linux users get quite fanatical. If you need burning software it's usually either already installed (free!) or if not then you open up your package manager or terminal and just download it (free!)
Under Windows I used Nero, it seems to come...
As far as I know you cannot erase a DVD, you have to overwrite them.
I may be wrong but none of my software lets me erase them, they actually tell me to overwrite.
