I say that about the uber towel, but I don't use one anymore. Replaced it with a woolly mammoth that I dont really rate and finish off with the cheap red lined blue towels. Will get another with my next i4d or PB order.
Referring back to iron removers, I was pleased to see a while back that...
You can use a strong shampoo dilution as clay lube
Best bet is watch youtube videos on how to do. Lube up the panel, keeping clay flat gently rub it over the panel adding more lube, and regularly turn or fold over the clay to a clean side. Rinse panel and dry.
If you have tar on the panel...
Use a tar remover after washing before claying or you'll be there hours, pick up loads of dirt on the clay then continue to rub it round the paint further. Plus it will take a lot longer. A wipe down with a tar remover will speed up the process a whole lot.
My work runabout isn't even the pd engine, the older Mk4 Golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp FTW! comes with knackered flywheel that vibrates so much when coming to a stop people think it's miss-firing. 1999 so tax is done on engine size on C02 emissions, £225 FTL
I forget sometimes how tuneable to VAG lumps are
How often and how dirty is the vehicle going to be done? I personally have only used avalanche and it cleans pretty well.
this may help your decision, as it says that hyper wash is best suited to lightly soiled or regularly cleaned cars...
Very boring! friend has one with the flappy paddle / tiptronic box and makes it more so. Roads were too busy to try out the handling. But it got up to speed much quicker than I expected.
It's not only CS they haven't replied on, it's the many forums they are part of.
If you don't like to wait, don't enter, simples. You'd rather they don't create free comps for everyone to enter because sometimes, you might have to wait a week?
Have they replied in the main thread over on DW? As I haven't seen it, now I wouldnt have thought they'd want to ignore that section either?
They seem to attend a lot of shows, as well as running a product and detailing business, maybe they are busy and should just forget about the whole...
However impressive that is, surely it won't be any good as a street car?
Pulling onto the bypass, little throttle in 3rd to join the traffic, all 4 wheels light up as it comes on boost.
Its started with SRP and EGP
Then I came in this sub section and got caught up with the likes of JD, Kev, Rich and Russ and it started to go downhill
Then discovered that DDJ were 10minutes up the road, then AF opposite.

Their getting better, for select customers ;)
Would you really need that much, considering I use 100ml per 1l bottle, that normally gets through 4 cars at a high mixture rate, it would take you 1234 years to make a dent in that.
Plus regular use of a tfr I'm sure would not be good for the paint, plastics and rubber.
Have a look at...
Meh, I'm a grumpy old b@stard ;) Comments taken on board
For removing the paint spots, look to get a firm or hard clay rather than the softer ones as the softer clay wont pick up or remove the paint as easily. But the softer clay like that from meguiars or autoglym found in halfords are perfect...
Calm down mate I asked a simple question, if you'd asked advice, and not permission, we all would have said that the black die in tcut doesn't last, tcut is very harsh and will need refining afterwards, and that strong clay removes paint and overspray, without causing as much damage to the...
I'll give it 2 washes before your shampoo washes out all the black dye and fillers from the T-Cut and it looks like you've never applied it.
What's the need to use something so coarse?
You lot are so lazy! have a look yourself
