Autofinesse illusion for everything except durability.
Autofinesse desire for everything including durability.
Can't say I've ever used a bad wax, but dodo juice supernatural hybrid was quite disappointing after the hype
Doesn't AB banana gloss contain wax and gloss enhancers? If so doesn't make the shortlist as it will affect your wax / sealant by leaving something behind.
Price wise, gwash and hyperwash are pretty similar with similar dilution ratios. I don't see myself using it as a pre wash or foam so gwash is looking likely.
Finally received my Chemical Guys clay mitt today, only took 2 weeks. It doesn't look much for £40
Do you really need black hole and tripple? both are glazes, but tripple will clean / mildly polish and add a tiny bit of it's own protection.
Likewise you have both a wax and sealant. typically only use one to provide the protection, although it would appear with the new version of C2 you can...
They looked into a concentrate I believe but packaging became an issue.
If you are likely to use it, or can sell it on, buy 5L of CP works at £6/7 a litre. It does work as well as rapid dirt shifer when diluted 1:1 as well.
Yeah fancied giving it a try side by side with citrus power.
Plan is to go nano sealant so shouldn't need anything too powerful. Isn't you 200 wearing CQUK?
Slightly less grime cutting than just spraying it on and pressure rinsing off, but as good as a cheapo snowfoam. But yes very similar in use to avalanche just not quite as powerful.
If like me you use a fair amount of pre wash its really worth buying something like citrus power in 5l bottles...
It is a fantastic product, just a little pricey for regular use.
I tried it diluted 1:1 with water and it's still as affecting as carplan rapid dirt shifter and makes it a little more reasonable on price for regular use, then save it nest for really grubby cars.
I've almost run out and...
im wanting it to be non gloss and wax enhacing so it shouldnt interfere with nano coatings, which im pretty sure the shampoos I mentioned are?
BTBM is £16 / litre where as all the others are at least half that
So gwash, lather and megs offerings are going to negative affect on the paint? More so than btbm?
Also having a baby means I want to keep spending on a stupid hobby as low as possible, so based on btbm at £16 for 500ml, or lather / gwash at £4.50 for 500ml there's a big difference.
I like btbm...
Get daisy all purpose cleaner from Tesco and dilute it, spray over the full car and leave to dwell, but before it dries rinse off with a pressure washer.
Wash as normal with a strong dilution.
Get hold of a tar remover and spray liberally over most of the car, typically try and keep it off...
agree Ant, diluted RDS is not much better than plain water rinse.
BTBM although a very good shampoo, costs a fortune when compared to 5L bottles available.
get this to start with

then add buckets with grit guards, lambswool washmitt and suitable drying towel.
I did get a couple of dispensers for the 5L bottles, but they chuck out a load in one go. Never actually measured it but always way more than is needed.
Off topic a little. anyone still able to get RDS at a discounted price? all my local supermarkets are either sold out or £6+. I have 500ml...
CYC claim 400:1, does that sound about right to what you use it to? As I use a little less with Lather.
What's it like though? it's been years since I've used it and can't really remember.
PB only mention it as a pre wash not a shampoo as all the other suppliers state.
recommendations for bulk buy shampoo's please. I know what's available but not used many of them, especially the Megs hyperwash and shampoo plus. Must be non gloss and wax enhacing so I can use it with fussy LSP's like nano coatings.
Currently using AF Lather, nothing wrong with it at all just...
If you cut and fit in a way that is secure enough then no need for any additional cable ties or sealants.
All depends on bow much, if any, you trim off the powerflex mount
Just because I used cable ties initially makes it a poor fix?
Make them and correctly trim the new mount and they fit so snug they won't move. Cable ties were there to secure it whilst the bonding sealant cured, now cable ties removed and mounts still sitting pretty.
If you want to spent...
