clios tend to run at a transmission loss of 15-20%
looking at your power graph its says 105 then 140 corrected which is an estimate of your fly wheel power if you work out the percentage difference its around 35% which is more like a 4wd transmission loss. if you add around 20% to your 105...
doesnt matter what size head they have, some will be 21 some will be 19.
they must be m12 with a 1.5mm thread though.
tbh if your best getting them from a wheel shop and they will make sure you get the correct seat for the wheels your running and the correct length for a clio hub...
Re: Mk1 Ph2 1.8 16v Valuation
if its got a full mot, leather and good arches/sills your looking around £1500 nowerdays.
have alook on clio16valver.co.uk
guessing the figure not in brackets is atw power??
that means youve got a 35% transmission loss= not right even in the slightest!!!
whats the name of the company and how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking??
did he not do a before graph and is it just a generic map or one custom to...
ffs, doesnt look too bad, just replaceable panel/subframe damage by the look of it.
some pics of huchies rally car with same sort of damage on here somewhere......
really nice cars these, and go pretty well too!!!
i dont like the black nose on yours so it would be the normal cupra for me but glad your enjoying it.......
unlucky mate, ive changed a fair few of them now and its abit of a pig of a job to do yourself, can be done in 3/4 of a day with a mate......
may aswell change the clutch kit while you have it exposed if you dont know its history...
yes you will deffo ned camber for sure.
you can get propper rear camber shims from fred@btm (or do it ghetto style with a few washers.
front camber bolts again ring fred
might as well go for a day out and get him to set it all up for you couldnt comment on how much but give him a call, hes...
sorry worked it out wrong above lol
rear has 10mm space now , new rim extra width 13mm would stick out 3mm then difference in et of 10mm would stick out 13mm the with the 15mm pcd adaptors the rims would stick out 28mm from arch
front using correct maths method would stick out 20mm.
alot...
right so 7x16 with et 45 leaves you 10mm off the rear lip on standard rims, so another half inch on the new wheel width towards the arch (13mm) then dropping another 10mm with the new wheels et and 15mm spacer running 205 tyres the tyre will stick out from the rear arch 48mm
with the front it...
custom set up as in camber etc, you can still use the shock/springs you have now but will have to get some chims for the rears or do it ghetto with washers and some camber bolts for the front toget some negative camber.
if you want to retain some handleing then i would have min 195 tyre...
you would have to get the et35, then the min you can get adaptors is 15mm i think so an 8 wide rim with et20 will mean you need some negative camber to get the tyres under the arch lip.
(you will need camber shims for the rear and camber correction bolts for the front and a full custom set up...
imo if your still changing your mind then its not time to sell up......
very easy to say take the chance that the 200 will be loved and enjoyed just as much but how easy do you think you could shift the 200 on/how much money would you loose/how easy would it be to get another 182 i the same...
pcd is not only the problem, the offset will have to be near standard clio to be abke to get the adaptors on and not have the tyre sticking out a country mile..............
