justin, will be one of those things mate. Ask someone to drive your car down the road and give it beans. I never knew what mine sounded like from outside, was pleasantly surprised - certainly something a video clip doesn't capture.

Fraid your a pioneer though mate, goto a scrappy pick some up for el cheapo, if they dont fit flog them on here/ebay. You shouldn't lose money.
Got a dremmel, it scratches too deep. Im charging my sander tonight to see if thats any cop. But in all honesty, its not that hard work, im just too lazy to buy a sanding block.
Well started on Sunday, and upto now i've given it about 1/1.5 hours work.
Got a 'project pack' of oxide/sandpaper from Halfords for like £2.50. Got the 40 grit oxide paper and went hammer and tongue at it, mainly concentrated on the bulk of the inlets, as i'll tidy the edges when im happy...

Not sure on the measurement from standard as prior to these my car had Koni+Eibachs so was already 25mm~ lower.
If anybody wants to measure up their standard 172 from the floor to the middle of the arch, i'll happily put in the measurements on mine for comparison.
LOL @ Peter Crouch
BTW - Tyre gel i used was Turtle Wax Extreme Tyre Gel afaik. Need some new fronts soon though, the shoulders are hammered. Not sure whether to go back to 195 F1 GS-D3, or keep them on 205 PE2's, theres £20 difference per corner.
