    A strange picture request

Tonight is fine Tom. I reckon a 172 should be the same, at that point of the floor. If you don't mind that would be a real help.

    A strange picture request

Tom, I could still use that pics if you get a chance please. I need to see as far back as possible, just under the plastic boot trim, and to the right of the boot catch. They're going to sort it but I want to make sure they are doing it correctly.

Mine is no where near as bad as that, but you're along the right lines with the mastic.

    A strange picture request

That's odd, I typed a reply earlier but god knows where it's gone. Basically I was rear ended last November. The repair looked fine at the time but at the weekend I had to take the carpet up to clean some sand off it and noticed it's not stood the test of time well. I've spoken with the body...

    Dan Page

I'd just washed it. I always wash it at my parents so as not to make a mess of my drive. I was just on my way back home. They don't live far from me then. I'll be keeping away from his Nova then, well in a straight line anyway. lol

    A strange picture request

I'm going to have it out with the body shop at lunch Tom. f**king cowboys. Good job I had the carpet up at the weekend as the 12 month guarantee on the work is up next month.

    A strange picture request

Morning, I'm hoping someone can do me a quick favour this morning if possible. I need a decent picture of the boot floor of a 182 without the carpet in place. The bit I need to see the clearest is the area right at the back nearest to the boot catch. Cheers, Lee

    Print Management Software

It actually tells you in the System event log who's submitted print jobs, the size and number of pages! I take it you don't restrict access to the printers then? We do otherwise the office would be printing A3 holiday photos!

    Cup Spoiler Fitting Guide?

Ah yeah, good point, should have read the title.:o

Found a relay in passenger footwell...??

I had that happen on my 172. It was the headlight wash pump relay IIRC.

    Cup Spoiler Fitting Guide?

It's really easy. Just get the front of the car jacked up, with the help of a friend hold the splitter in place. Tape it up so it doesn't move then drill straight through the splitter into the bumper with a thin drill bit and use the 8 self tapping screws that came with the splitter to attach it.

    197 Cup unveiled

You would be amazed at how late the dealers find out things. I had to tell Renault Birmingham the Trophy existed and give them the note number so they could look it up on the system! Autocar are in the know......

    FAO Canon Camera Geeks

Or two normal Canon batteries. That's handy as I was finding using a big lens with a fast autofocus was draining one battery in a day.

    FAO Canon Camera Geeks

Well worth getting, especially at that price. It really helps when trying to hold the camera steady as well as having buttons on it to make taking pictures with the camera sideways really easier.

    Brand New UK 197 R27 for £14k

You can get that sort of price from a main dealer. Check out www.renaultsport.co.uk and go to the forums. There's a few dealers on there knocking them out at that price and cheaper.

    Everlasting Brake Pads

I wish I had the time and ability to do it myself. Not mine then. Mine was an 04 in Arctic blue, done 18k when I traded it in after having it a year from new. It needed a new exhaust and a rear damper when they took it.

    Everlasting Brake Pads

I bought two cars new from them. The guy I dealt with in service was great, but the work done on the car was shocking. I used Sutton Park before Renault Brum (going to the opening of the new place on the 25th), recently I've used Wolvo and now the new one at Cannock. Can't really fault Wolvo...

    Everlasting Brake Pads

A light left foot on track isn't going to help my slow down is it. lol I don't care how they do it, what I want is consitency. I was told I had 80% wear a while back so had new pads based on that and some track work coming up. What if they were really only 50% worn and I forked out for new...

    Everlasting Brake Pads

I had exactly the same from Renault Birmingham. When I had a go at them they told me they only have a quick look and it's a rough guess. To check would take longer and would put the cost of the service up. My brakes are screwed at the moment but it's due it's 36k in a couple of weeks. I'll...

Streaming video on 360 from PC

To play files you go to the video section on the 360 and you'll see a list of all video files it can see. I've not used it in ages, but when I last did all the files were in one massive list. A recent update may have split that into folders but I'm not sure. From memory it's only wmv files it...

I've used Tversity with mine. It's a bit of a pig to get working as it conflicts with windows Media Player. If it works it works perfectly, if it doesn't you'll spend hours messing with it.

    197 Cup unveiled

Don't be silly Tom, it would only really be any good if it had a large spoiler on the back. Just ask Jack, he knows. Just like he knows the spec of his own car so well.

    197 Cup unveiled

Which is a good thing, because at the end of the day they won't be making any cars if they go out of business. It's all about making money, and I think Renault should be applauded for doing what they do for their customers as it is. Most car companies do much less and listen far less.
