What winds me up even more (god I'm ranting to the entire office here now) is the fact it's a mobile aimed at business users. I wouldn't get much in the way of business done on a phone with such piss pour battery life.
*and relax*
I noticed Matt Brown had an old Nokia 8310 as his second...
Battery tech is taking forever to catch up.
I've got a Nokia E65, I reckon I've had it 6 months ish. For the RWS weekend I left the house Saturday morning with it fully charged. With a bit of call and text use on Saturday and the same Sunday it was totally dead by mid day on Sunday. That's a...
That's the reason I bought an iPod, but for me phones are different. It's more important to be able to use a phone, if I can't listen to music it's hardly going to ruin my day.
It's a pointless device as far as I'm concerned. If I had that on my arm in the gym I'd be in the s**t for taking my phone in with me! Plus the battery life is going to be toss after listening to music, then unable to phone people.
Phones are for phoning, iPods are for music. I love gadgets...
Sounds familiar. We've got a Panasonic 6 series in the boardroom at work. That cost around £2.5 when I bought it. People never switch it off so I'm amazed it even works still. A few years back the boss left a copy of Brian Lara Cricket on the PS2 on the menus for an entire weekend......that...
I've never had any serious problems running Vista Ultimate at work, but I don't see any reason to upgrade from XP Pro at home.
Whatever problems people have had with Vista it will never be as shite as Windows ME was.
One of the main reasons I went plasma was because it was the main set for the lounge. If it was mainly for gaming as my 26" was then I'd more likely have gone for another LCD.
SD TV looks terrible on an LCD.
We've got loads of them here, but recently started using Sony 20" widescreen ones as most the guys prefer them. The Samsungs were suggested as the best for colour balancing. I've never had a problem with them. I've got one in the bedroom at home, and that used to have my 360 on it. Sometimes...
I've just spoken to my account manager at MS. They've got them now, so he's trying to get me a freebie. I won't be seeing it before it's street date though as MS would rip him a new one if he did that. He's getting a free World in Conflict skateboard out of it. lol
Same here. The reason lots of people have that set is because it's one of the best plasmas for the money. Even more so since it's dropped in price loads since I bought mine.
I've got the 42" plasma and a 26" Samsung LCD and in every area other than gaming the Plasma wins hands down. Some...
About 6pm last night sat in your car on Francis Road outside the dry cleaning place run by the hot blonde. I was going to say hello bit figured you would wonder who the nutter was coming over to your car.
For me, having owned a Ph2 172, 182 with Cup packs and the Trophy, and driven a 172 Cup a fair bit I'd go for the 172 Cup or Trophy for the drive. Overall I found the 182 with Cup packs a better all rounder, but then I do quite a lot of miles so the softer ride made it better for that.
It depends who you talk to. A main dealer doing a trade in sees a Trophy worth around £500 more than a 182 Cup of the same age and mileage. Some see it worth exactly the same, it depends if they think they can shift it. Privately the difference is betweem £500 and £1500 looking around a bit...
We noticed the inside of the boot lid looked f*cked.
I still managed to get a bit of kip in the afternoon even with the noise I was so knackered and hungover.
I'm not surprised you felt rough Maz. Two bottles of wine to yourself. lol Most people take a glass of water with them to bed...
Have you seen the new place? Much better than the pokey old dive it used to be. I used to get my 172 and 182 serviced there.
A few dealers have been knocking them out at that price.
I wish I could change now, as I'm not so sure on the Cup anymore. I don't think it's going to be exactly what...
I've looked at all the photos people have posted of the 2 seater laps and there's no way I can tell which one is me. Unless someone had a massive zoom lens and and I can make out my face in the helmet it's impossible.
Don't I look good in a race suit though.
It was good to finally meet you too mate.
I poked Maz in to the introduction. I spotted Jaines V so figured you would be near by. Maz wasn't sure if it was Jaines V due to the change in wheel colour, but I recognised the plate
There were some lovely pit girls Dan, but I forgot to due my grid...
