It's there in 4th and 5th, it's just not so noticable. The performance of Renaultsport engines varies massively. My old 172 and 182 never felt anywhere near as lively as my Trophy does.

I usually come down to Brands and that's a long drive for me. A good 3 hours. Most of them are £150 I think.

All that generation of Renaultsport suffer break fade. Mine did a few times yesterday. The brakes on the R27 are amazing though and stand lap after lap of punishment. You'll be okay at the ring, you'll not be able to drive with the same level of commitment as on a track you can learn easily...

The cars already ready....just put petrol in, drive it to the track and away you go.

Renault kept 001. 002 - 006 were press cars and were sold on to the public. 004 obviously being bought by Harry Metcalfe of Evo Magazine. Hell yeah they were all thrashed. lol I gave 006 a thrash when it was just a few hundred miles on the clock.

I paid full price back in March. Really impressed with it. The Top Gear polar episode looked amazing in HD. Mine has locked up a couple of times recently when it's gone a few days without being use. Other than that it's fantastic. Always welcome to pop over and have a look at mine too Jay...

There is no concrete spec for the Cup yet. Oddly enough I was talking about this yesterday with a man in the know. Dealers are never the first to find out anyway. Even the press find out before the dealers. lol
