What sort of clio 16v will you be hoping to get for £1250.....?
And how much will you be spending on it in the first 12 months to make it road worthy....?
If hes 16v is anything like mine then it is worth at least 2100. If somebody looking at the vehicle fails to see that then best of luck...
id say around 2300 dependant on condition maybe a tad more if mint, dont take any less than 2100. And ignore the muppets that tell you(and offer) otherwise.
Good luck, if you decide to sell it. Thou i wont be letting mine go! no sir!
one things for sure im having a night off from that bleeding car!!!!!
I bought it 4 weeks ago and have spent every night on since ive had it!!!
AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!
not happy one bit!
You aint goin to believe this!
I thought i would check the n/s drive shaft tripod as there was quite a lot of play in this shaft.
Just took the shaft out and one of the roller bearings had come of and dumped the 35 odd rollers into the bottom of the gearbox!!!!!!!!!
f*****g h**l...
After doin the suspension work a couple of days ago (wishbones and strut top bushes etc) i took the car out today round the block couple of times to try and sort out this WOOBLE
It has got me completely stumped.
the symptons are i get a wobble through the front end in every gear whether...
Guuulp!
Might have been wrong about that bolt.
The back one has head on manifold side, so dont see why the front one wouldnt be the same. It would make sense. I must of had a bodging t**t to. Just added two additional washers to mine exact same size as the one on it originally.
hi matt.
Im in halesowen junction 3 m5. I think theres a few of you round here but i never see any of you.
If you arrange a meet anytime count me in. as long as me wobble has gone
Hinckley not that far away anywayz.
hehe. ok
That mount doesnt support vertcal movement of the engine only horizontal (you see ?)
And the thread should stick out manifold side i am sure.
cheers for now.
Ade.
braking issue was because of warped dics.
there was no wobble before i started thou
tracking is only thing i can think of.
and thanks for the offer m8y. but i is a midlands lad.
yeah its the dog bone.
but that "bodging t**t" has put it on the RIGHT way round.
You dont have to lift the engine or remove the front pipe to remove this mount.
Well the front suspension has been stripped and rebuilt. Glad thats done. Everything seems cool although now i have a slight wobble through the steering even at low speed. I assume the tracking will be a mile out now the wishbones, wish bushes, wish balljoint, strut top bushes and bearings and...
