I got mine off of ebay for a third of the price and it was almost brand new. Fitted it on the driveway.
Its not technically difficult it just has bad access. Even if you had ramps you would still need to do it on the ground as someone needs to reach the otherside of the bolts from inside the...
Power and torque are related to one another anyway.
Power(kW) = 2 x pi x engine speed(rev/s) x torque(Nm)
The best thing for these engines is having useable torque and power. They desperately need some low down torque for everyday driving.
^^ Never understood why people dont do that if they have a PH1. Its such a good mod and the inlets are high enough up from the road to suck in cooler air.
So many on here with PH1's run them all the way up from the fog which is just stupid IMO.
Exactly! How can people compare the two they are in a totally different class. An M3 in any form would wipe the floor with a cliosport.
I've found the clio is quick enough to suprise most 3 series drivers upto the 330i in petrol and 323d in diesel but your not going to demolish anything but...
As in genuine discs are a rip off. The brembos are just as good if not better and are slightly cheaper. The ones on ebay are crap and will probably warp hence the low price.
Just reread what I said and I see what you mean! I contradicted myself there!!
Did my first trackday this month my suspension is stock apart from eibach springs. I was running PE2's.
I was useless in the first few hours of the morning session but I had an hour tuition before lunch and I was a different driver in the afternoon. Another hours tuition and I was keeping up...
I think you need to have custom brackets made.
Tbh hardly anyone on here has 4 pots as the stock brakes are more than up to the job with some decent pads.
I was thinking about this the other day and tbh 90% of the public will know its a renault clio when its debadged so I dont see the point. Also more than 90% of them dont have a clue what a renault sport is anyway so whats the point of going for a stealth look?
Really have to love renault dealerships and there bullshit answers. The pedal should not go to the floor. Check your pistons and sliders but I still think you need a new master cylinder or theres air in the lines somewhere.
