A naive attempt to bypass spam filters. Most spam filters search for a string of key words so the originators now tend to send the actual email as an image and bulk out the text with crap that doesn't set off the spam filter. That's the idea but in practice it fails miserably.

If the mod directly leads to an "associated" part failing then they will not honour the warranty. If you change the exhaust and the passenger door falls off then that's another matter.
