With uprated stuff I've never had brake fade on track, using HC's and ds2500's. For it to happen at road speed, somethings wrong imo. Bleed them, go from there.
On the road, tbh I doubt anyone would push hard enough for there to be a significant difference.
They're good on track, but just good. The slagathor 172 was awesome.
Difference is, with the 172 I'd finish a trackday and be planning the next. Not sure I can be bothered in the 200.
If I could...
If changing the exhaust, I'd just take out the centre box. Similar setup to the cup racers afaik. £100 to get it removed and new pipe welded in?
Sounds quiet because you've got all the interior in fella;)
Lol'ing hard at 'negativity'. Idiot.
The flat spot is the reason I'm keeping the standard exhaust. Sounds ok as is, plus no flat spot enhancement. Go>show.
All the qualified mappers I've had a chat with have said the flat spot would remain even post map, I'll ask again when I go on on tuesday.
I've just seen the final pics on google. Can't link, I'm on my phone, but good god what have they done. Hideous, crap. Gullwing doors, disgraceful front end. A makeover that's worse than the clio200.
Jesus wept. As did fangio :(
That's fair enough, I'd go for a ph2 Meg with the cup chassis. The 197 is better looking, but the only Meg I'd take a 197 over is a non-cup chassis ph1.
