Basic grey cloth trim, no Renault Sport sill plates, no Renault Sport steering wheel. No xenons, manual AC (no Climate control panel). Thats a Cup.
Good car though, i'd have one.
Be interesting, My 197 Cup is epic handling, dunno if i'd want to mess with it. Used to have H&R coilovers on my old 197, and they were equally epic. But not spending that kind of £££ in this
Hmmmm. Think the standard 200 was meant as more of a GT spec, as thats how the French like them, softer sprung etc. Granted i've never driven a standard 200, but with the same chassis bar softer springs on a 200 i cant see how it drives better than a 197, bar the slightly better low down grunt...
More gentleman spec ;)
Cupped 200's have a quicker steering rack, and uprated springs/dampers as per. A standard 200 has a 197 rack, and even softer set up. The standard 197 is good chassis wise, so its no biggie
Ummmm, not really sure? (not well up with manc cc) I was at a set of lights, not a million miles away from the Hilton, you came from the right, straight across, i was stealth in the van!
Aye thats it. I did toy with a Meggy or something but i think the Clio pace is just right, and cheap to run (dont do massive miles, or use it for work) Averaging around 30 mpg in this one, so not too bad!
I should (need) to keep this for three years really!
^ Love that pic
Yup, nice touch with the black spoiler! Didnt fancy the Cup pack then?
Get the centre caps sprayed black, just did mine today (197 Cup) Makes a massive difference :)
Um
172 Cup
182 Cupped
197
172 Cup
197 Cup.
Stupid Clio fetish :(
Only thing i really miss is electric mirrors and o/s temp guage! Bit pikey that really. If the the loom is there, it might just need a sensor. But being Renault its probably not that simple!
For a 200 they will bolt straight in. You will need someone with a diagnostic code reader to disable the airbag light as the standard RS seats have more airbags than the Recaros ( the car needs telling it has x2 missing). Not 100% sure they will fit in a MK2, did read of Mike at Rentec saying no...
Yeah, same here really but not looking till next summer so meh. Going in with the long term gf. With selling the Cup and the Recaros i've only dipped a few kk into my savings, so be reet! I'd have loved a SG 200, on that pcp deal but didnt want to tie myself into it for 2 years really.
