was told this was around a hundred brand new. I'm getting desperate for one.:o Pisses me off when i park up and either have to sit for 5 minutes or turn ignition off as soon as i have stopped.
Anyone know if these are simple to wire?
not bad value, if you think a car limited in production to only 172 cars, is worth around a grand more than a standard one.
If interior was mint I think it would be worth it.
you taken all screws out of vent, under steering wheel cover bit, behind dash trims, and the two clips on the sides?
Removed A pillar covers and rubber door trim?
If so, just pull.
yeh i think its a green cotton one. As for the heat shield, I'll model one in cardboard first, then get it welded together. Might get a discount if we both have one.:)
Ah ok, cheers. Did think the viper would be too small, could imagine the innards being sucked out of it and into the engine.
Will try and fabricate a heatshield as it gets so bloody hot in the bay.
I wish. A 280bhp impreza would be fun, but what about a 280bhp clio? What would be more fun?
To be honest half the fun is speed, half is going round the twisties. Get some coilovers and you'll be happy for a while.:) I incidentally have some for sale.;)
My errrr cat has split all round end of cylinder, and blowing like a b**ch.
Easy to fix? Been told it needs MIG welding by garaga and they couldnt do it.
supposed to be 0-60 in 4.9 according to letstorquebhp.com
All down to driver skill though, I am slow at gear changes.
Fred, measuring temperatures is what i do best.lol. Why do you need to know these? What would a good one be? I borrow some toys from work to check all this out.
I got some bbpt big green cone type filter, looks a bit max power to be honest. Is there any benefit of getting colder air into the inlet? There is no heat shielding around it, and i've also thought about closed air intakes.
might be in wolves on the weekend, well now i found out its a bank holiday on monday I can fit in the 3 things i wanted to do in 2 days.lol.
Fred if you could have a gander at a few quirky problems i have I would be a very happy bunny.:)
Just things like clutch is squeeky if you give it gas...
I guess i paid around 2500 for all the work over a standard car.:)
List of toys in car:
