Cheers mate, nope not taking it to fcs can't make it sadly. Would've loved to take it.
Will give you a blast out in it when I next see you, needs a rear arb now and it will be unreal
Had my clio set-up done at JMS this week so thought it deserved a wash and a few pics. New ride height and camber = check
Hmm Camber
50/50
One of my favourite shots
So this is the one James was on about fitting recaro's too.
Looks lovely mate, shame you've sold it. What are they like to drive in comparison with a 1*2? Still as much fun?
Saw both of these twice now.
Saw the RB twice last night, has dirty white team dynamic pro race 1.2's on
White 200 has cup spoiler and black speedlines
It's much easier putting it in here tbh, not many people check the regions sections
Sorry didn't get back to you Dr.Jones, I havent got anything lying around
Hi mate, BG motorsport will be able to refurbish the Standard trophy Sachs dampers for around £4-500 If I remember correctly. Log onto www.cliotrophy.co.uk and there is a big post on there about it. Should hopefully save you a few pennies, ENJOY!
UPDATE!
So the day arrived, off to JMS for some allignment work on the car.
Ever since fitting the coilovers and top mounts I've been very unhappy with the way the car handled, mid corner bouncing, understeering and general lack of grip.
I love having low cars, theres something about the...
Take it elsewhere and see if they can get anymore from the set-up. Seems good improvements but some of the mapping work from K-tec has been improved elsewhere by company's like TDF and Rs Tuning
How does it drive now and how is the idle?
Sarah you've been doing something seriously wrong or your car is in bad need of a service.
I get mixed driving Mpg of around 36-37 and that isn't taking my time either
I've not long since fitted a brand new mount to mine, thought I'd put a socket in straight away so it didnt get the chance to drop at all. Think if I get any problems in the future this may be the answer
This deserves to be saved, sadly not for that price it doesnt. I'd bid him £3000 max stating it wants the front end sorting and the wheels returned back to their normal colour
I think the thing that shocked me most was this was over 300 miles, not just a quick reset whilst going down a hill off the throttle for a mile. They are really good on fuel but I can't help squeeze the loud pedal.
Just driven the cup down south, covered 300 Miles average MPH was around 65 on the trip, although seemed to be sitting more between 70-75 on the motorways.....
and the returned MPG? ............43MPG!!!
I'm genuinely shocked, the car is well looked after and serviced very regularly so not...
Ah shame mate I'm down JMS on Thursday getting the coilovers set up on the cup, along with my AST top mounts so hoping for the car to feel all connected again. After that my 3rd whiteline ARB will be making its way on there to finish the set up :)
There was some good banter in this thread, but its sadly been ruined from the same usual suspects who feel the need to put some sort of sensible stamp on everything.
Yes we all like a good drive in our cars, some more enthusiastically than others, if they choose to talk about it let them...
Just wheels mate, maybe a few other parts as I'm deciding what route I want to go down, first on the list is a set of 15s and some original turinis for winter
Re: My old clio, BUYERS BEWARE!!
Jim I wish you'd sold this to me when I made you the offer as I would've paid more than what this chap did and cherished it. Nevermind mate atleast its alive and kicking again, it looks lovely apart from the fucked exhaust mounts
I'm sure that's where I've been tonight to pick up a 172 cup for a mate, if theres a shell petrol station just off the A38 then I was there, saw a blue scooby on cams, white RS4 booting it around, a few more scoobs and some playboy in a gay blue MR2 convertable. All whilst sitting in the shell...
*BUMP*
Time for an update:

Fk konigsport coilovers fitted, speedline 2110's painted satin black with white centre caps
