Well I did hear good reviews regards Hutchie that's why I chose him to do it in the first place, he seemed extremely confident of his capabilities, I knew him pretty well so that's why I trusted him. Nevermind I will be paying for his mistakes for the next few years, atleast a few things were...
The worrying thing for me was that it was Hutchie and his father who repaired the first f**k up, only for it to go again 5-6 days later.
What goes around comes around ;)
I think its a yes and no for me, I think some non sports can look really good without having to add the sport bumpers etc.
If they can afford to do it then why not, i'd just hope one day they'd do the engine conversion instead of selling it for a propper sport
They sound better with boost :D
My mates had a few, I've driven some of them and been passenger in others, they sound addictive but in a mk2 they're no faster than a 172/182
If you haven't already thrashed the clio about then give it a good run out and see what you think, sounds like the scoob is well sorted. I love the handling on bro's evo but it feels boring. In the clio you have to work for the results and you'll probably have more fun, maybe not as fast as the...
Do plenty of research before you get one, understand the maintenance schedules involved and possible problems you may have. Also factor in a cambelt change at some point.
Try admiral, they've been top on quotes for me for this year, totally beating brentacre, adrian flux etc. A lot of people...
Gally, your car is utter p**n mate, you've got it looking really well and its a big credit to a rare model. I wish I could take decent pictures of the cars I paint correct etc, I just have a normal camera, I dont do all of this PS editing etc I just dont have a clue. Looks like you dont need...
After the excitement of getting the wheels and coilovers on a week or so back, I didnt get chance to give the car a clean before grabbing a few snaps....
Moved to another location....
and to finish
I've taken off the camber as it was making the car tow in too much and...
25mpg? LMAO you must be driving like tools. I could get 25mpg out of my old supercharged mini driving it hard, the R56 is meant to be streets ahead MPG wise.
As far as I'm aware normal brake lines expand with heat, so the pressure isnt kept at the same rate, giving you a softer brake pedal giving the effect of brake fade. Braided lines cope with heat a lot better so meaning the fluid pressure can stay right up without the loss of pedal feel...
Didn't notice you'd made a thread mate, really think they suit the motor, they're lovely wheels and the finish is awesome, well worth the extra I spent on them
Really nice, slight change from turini's. Wasnt there a problem with the offset/fitment of these for clio's when rota's first released them for 4x100 fitment
Sorry my friend, that was a statement regarding the white car with gay coloured wheels
The custom springs were made by this company http://www.coilsprings.co.uk/ They were based on an eibach sportline spring, they then took all of the tolerences of the eibach spring but made a smaller spring so...
