Ive just gone to tighten up my wheel bolts after Ive had my new alloys fitted a bit ago, just to find my wheel brace is too big for the bolts....
Whats going on?
Both perform exactly the same.
Its just the silenced one has a silencer on it with sound deading stuff inside it, therefore making it slightly quieter (dont know by how much). Makes no difference to the flow of exhaust gases.
My g/f bought me some Sportzblue ones from Motorworld cos the old ones were so cr*p!
Slightly illegal (100/80W) but everyone round here has them and Ive not been pulled so far.
Huge improvement, very happy with them.
Well the only accurate time of a 0-60 Ive done in my car was 7.9 and I wheelspinning like hell in the wet and had to change into 2nd at only 4.5K RPM.
Think mine and other are capable of low 7s.
Surely if its your first little un, a Clio will be fine, especially a new shape one.
My brother and his missus seem to cope fine with my nephew in an AX GT or Clio RT.
& my g/fs nephew is carried around in a Nova 2.0 or XR2i and thats fine.
Just never seen the point of people needing much...
Id say 3 cos youd make a lot more money, but since you dont have much spare cash, probably not a realistic option.
2 if you have the time, otherwise itll have to be option 1!
http://www.gsfcarparts.comwww.gsfcarparts.com only list one for the 1.2/1.4 energy engine clios, but thats £110 exc VAT.
Apart from Renault, Id try a breakers like Paul Mitchell (http://www.infinicar.comwww.infinicar.com) for a 2nd hand unit.
