i am guessing it depends on what your engine needs mark.
Latest EVO's etc, using variable valve timing, turbo's etc etc would need alot more from an ecu than a t/b clio.
Plus then they give you the options of full throttle gearshifts, antilag systems etc etc. stuff that a latest turbo...
I wasnt saying there is anything at all wrong with Miltek's welds. They look up to the job.
Was just commenting on his opinion on welds. They are more important than he thinks.
So its all good guys!
Did i read someone was doing some back to back power runs with various systems? has...
rusty discs after washing/rain will take like 200 yards to clear, so that shouldnt be an issue.
seems strange. i would check every part of the brak system. all connections etc for leaks or damage.
Did you bed the new pads in properly?
I dont have aproblem with what people buy.
Before we developed etc the BTB system i bet 99% of people on here had never heard of BTB. But with a bit of research you will find that they work with some very special peoiple, and on some very special cars. For example they do 99% of Prodrives...
whip the rear wheel's off and take a look at the calliper.
look for any sort of obstructions or dirt etc.
If you cant sort it, then consider taking it to a garage.
MarkM - thank you! i am glad you can see where we and BTB are coming from with our system.
but its the same with all walks of life, you pay the money, you get the best.
As its been mentioned, most people just want extra noise, so they get noticed more down the high street etc.
calm down kids. i didnt mean it in that way. i was not comparing it to the BTB. The tailpipes just looked 'cheap' to me. Like it could be a Peco or some knocked up job. thats all.
Or am i not allowed an opinion???
like its been said, ECU's are only as good as the map.
on my old saxo VTS track car, i ran ITB's with OMEX and it ran like a dream, better than standard management i woudl say.
so i kinda find it hard to see how your omex is doing such a bad job other than the map on it.
But anywho, if...

go to Mark Fish if your close. he will do corner weights, geometry etc etc.
oh and he says you dont need the camber bolts for him to adjust it either.
i would give him a call before you buy bolts you dont need.
last few years it has just been randoms (pgti members i think) that sign people on etc, not cliosport staf.
but anywho, fair enough, i best decide what i am doing with my car then so i can sell my track time on if need be.
not wanting to be controversial, but how exactly would you stop someone who has paid for cliosport track time, entering the track in something non clio?
i may well not have my clio come FCS time, and fully intend to use the track time i have paid for.
we have never tested it with a straight through decat.
basically you got a few options, put the cat back on, get a sports cat, or get a silenced decat pipe ( i beleive GDI do one).
otherwise, glad you like!!
K-tec seem to be the only company constantly getting new products for the 172/182's at the moment, and they have put in some excellent development work on thier turbo conversion.
Only briefly dealt with GDI. but they seemed good.
These days tho, if you want something done properly, its...
