the bottom pic is my 182 cup in Inferno, and they are OZ records.
As for the BTB's looking a mess, in what way?? Discolourage due to TIG welding? maybe i should get the Brasso out???
Also as for the design, we left it in BTB's hands, evidently they feel this is the best design, i guess...
if so...
BTB's are now ready and available...
and a few happy campers so far.....
were still offering free fitting on them! so come get the best 182 system money can buy!
as for the question, back in my saxo days, my t/b VTS ran 157bhp, many cars on standard inlets ran similar or a few bhp more.
on track i killed them evertime. due to the increased torque and far better power delivery.
t/b's rule.
if your after an excellent 4 pot kit, take a look at ours...
http://www.shedmotorsport.com/brakes.htm
depending on your driving style, 4 pots are not overkill.
if its anything like a saxo/106 you shouldnt have to touch the drive shafts.
the existing mount should unbolt, then you cut the old rubber one out and press (or big hammer) the new one in.
weird, as s/c kits for a saxo give at least 100bhp.
check here.. www.gmcmotorsport.co.uk , they might be able to help or point you in the right direction!
JMR - BTB welds are a work of art. If you want, i will polish them if u want them all shiny.
Also, the reason the BTB is twin box is to keep it track day noise freindly, which it does by a mile.
we could of easily had it made like the orbisound, but whats the point of being on the limit...
hmmm...
the amount i have spent is quiet high, but then alot of it is because items are development etc.
so...
Exhaust 1500 approx
brakes 1200 approx
suspension 880
wheels & tyres 600
rollcage 700
others 200 approx
ok guys, well looks like i will stop digging myself into a hole!
evidently most people are happy with thier pro-speeds, which is a good thing.
Like its been said those that want a bit more sound go for that at a reasonable price, and those that want more come to the companies i mentioned...
just trying to get accross the point that things do matter!
if people want to pay 350 quid for a system thats totally fine by me, but they have to realise that they will likely loose power, the quality probably wont be that great etc etc.
and its people like us, yozzasport, angelworks, gdi...
