we had our system designed and made for the following reasons...
1) increase in bhp
2) increase in torque
3) far lighter than standard system
4) better materials and welds - last forever
5) better asthetics
6) better sound.
we achieved all of the above.
was gonna say!!
i think when i got mine they where a 95 quid option, but as i went inferno not blue, i didnt get them.
i think if you did choose to get them, anthracite ones, like the wheels would look far better!
i would check your engine mounts if the block is moving enough to rub.
as for the box, you could try get a Sadev clio cup racer item.
Aparrently yozza sport do a 6 speed kit for the standard box, but after alot of people asking no details or costs where ever given.
4 pot brake kit, BTB exhaust system and H&R's are what i can offer.
but like stan says, postage would be lots, as i dread to think what the cot of postager on these items would be!
there is far more to an exhaust than a few top end extra BHP.
our BTB system increases torque over the entire rev range, with a massive increase in mid range.
maybe people wanna stop reading Max Power and learn a bit more about car performance.
i beleive the Trophy is the cream of the crop with the 182's and should therefore only use the best mods on it.
no dodgy custom exhausts etc, just the use of top quality items to extract a little more performance from it.
but like all walks in life, some people's idea of good mods differ...
its called a knock sensor. stops running lean on lesser fuels etc.
hence why u can run 95 (i have most of the cars life) or run something like 101 ron without worry.
i just ordered a set of exalto 2's. it was between thos and yokohama parada 2's.
i went with the exalto's as i know how good they are, and they where slightly cheaper.
Also my exaltos have somehow lasted 18000 miles, and that includes a trip to the 'ring plus silverstone track sessions (...
u tried the turbo and exhaust manifold on there?
enough clearence between bulk head and block?
what sort of intercooler you planniong on using?
so amny questions i know!! lol
ah right, i see!
are the rest of the mounts on a 1.2 the same as the 172/182?
certanly looks like an interesting conversion (from a mechanical problem solving point of view)
agree with shepdogg!
as answer to the question, you cant go far wrong with a set of H&R coil overs, and a BTB exhaust, whcih funily enough i can supply! :D
send us a PM for more info!
