Looks like it's down for maintenance. If you do a connection test they usually pop up a message to let you know how long it's gong to be off.

That shouldn't matter as they would need the VPN client install before they could connect, even if they knew what they were connecting to. If you have a genuine VPN setup you have a client install to go on your machine. That way if you have a laptop for example, you can connect to your network...

I pay an extra pound a month for mine with Plusnet. I'll be leaving them soon! Surely they can configure it so you don't need a static address to VPN in. We don't do that here as people need to VPN in from different locations.

It's probably just faulty. The one on my 172 failed within 3 weeks of having the car. Dealer just put a new one in.

Just installed Vista Ultimate to kill some time this afternoon. Oh dear, I can't find anything. Think I'll reboot back into XP until most the apps and admin things I need are available for Vista. It's certainly pretty, pretty pointless though. At least you can right click the Windows icon...

Slapping on expensive dampers are one thing, but it's how it's setup that does it. A lot of time and effort went into the setup.

We've got a 16mb leased line here with Colt. It's fast and 100% reliable. Not exactly cheap though, but the price has dropped massively over the last few years.
