I got bored of COD3 really quickly. If I get a dry spell I'll pick it up again. I've got Splinter Cell Double Agent to borrow at some point, but to be honest the game doesn't appeal to me.
I'm on half day today so once I've had my tyres done I'll be home early to play a bit more Crackdown.
You need to give it a go, before you know it you are hooked. It's very addictive and actually a dam good game. It's a shame most people will never find out. At least half the 360 owners in the office are playing it at the moment!
Cheers Brian, that's some useful info.
I watched that Auto Express video when it was posted a few weeks back. It's good to see someone has noticed this is becoming a problem.
I was 9 floors up looking out the office Window. It had Cup packs if that's anyhelp!
You were heading off down past the new carpark where the old childrens hospital was with Tesco on your right.
When I say Xenons I mean Xenons as in on a Clio 172 or 182. These have washers and can't be adjusted manually. As far as I know they have the adjuster at the rear which compensates for the load in the car to keep the lights pointing where they shound and not into the faces of other motorists...
I've bought a couple of those recently. One had the highest spec possible at the time. It's also got the red lights. I think the other was blue! One was for an external producer, the other for the CTO. We got a nice little Sony Viao in here instead.
Cups and Trophys have the blanking plates, painted on the 172 Cup, black on the others. You can buy them from any Renault dealer.
I'm pretty sure you have to have washers on Xenons by law.
I'd say they are very much a mixed bag. We have a few at work and a lot of the guys have bought them for home use.
Some of them have been 100% reliable. Others have been a total nightmare.
We had one which had to have pretty much all the internals replaced, then within a week of coming back...
What's very odd is that during the day on the Friday if you tried to add it to your cart it came up as out of Stock. At around 11.40 Friday night you were able to place an order for it again.
The whole thing was obviously complete and utter b****cks, even the corporate account guys at PCW...
I saw the review of this on Motors TV the other day. I've played some of the previous versions which were free to download or came with hardware, they were quality. Very fun.
I think it was Track Mania Nations I played last.
Just done the into level to get used to it again. The FMV is beautifully produced as always. Every single female actor used us fit as ...., Michael Ironside hams it up perfectly.
It plays just the same as it always has done, very nicely. Graphically it's fine, I didn't even bother enabling...

It's coming down a 16mb leased line. I really think we need up it though. Making me wait 10 minutes isn't acceptable. Of course Vista working out the size of the file when I copy it will...
Cheers Ben. My current one is over 50% done now, so I might as well leave it going for now.
No idea when the 360 one is out I'm afraid. If the controls aren't too bad I might get it for the 360, although I can't imagine playing it without a mouse.
I can't be doing with signing up for anything. Leaving it on a capped download. It'll be down by close of play today so I can have a quick blast before I leave work.:D
I don't think you'll have any complaints. Some of the earlier 360 stuff can be a bit dark, but you can adjust it to get around that. All the recent games are colour balanced with HD LCD/Plasma in mind. MS recommend Samsung displays for this purpose, which is why we have mainly those.

It's unfair to say they are all like that. I've used one near me a few times and never had a problem with them damaging alloys, they've also always done me a good price.
It's available now. 1.2gb and slowly coming down. Most placed I tried to get it from are maxed out. It's up on mininova so that's probably the best bet for it, unfortunately I can't really use that at work.
I was thinking of getting something like this for the lounge: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/STTS5/3-/924634/Samsung_32_LE32R74BDX_Freeview_HD_Ready_Widescreen_LCD_TV/Product.html
I've got a slightly older version of this one at the moment...
I've got no complaints about my Samsung 26" either. I think I'll get a larger version of it for the lounge too.
We've got a load of them at work as well as a few Bravias. The Bravia does look better for some things though, but you pay for the name more than anything.
Function The Sprint Booster might very well be the “smartest” gadget on your car.
It is a device that improves acceleration by continuously measuring and...
