you need to swap the inside and engine loom so the whole dash has to come out its took me months to get mine working proper thats including the electric power steering and abs with a cup engine
the nearside one is under the battery - take battery off jack the gearbox up on a block of wood to take the weight off the mount (not too much) then there are 5 13mm bolts attached to the body undo them , then there are 3 16mm bolts atached to the gearbox undo them - might have to move some...
there's loads of rich men's wives with full fat 172's their the best to look out for
the engines are reliable things to look out for are:
rattle from engine load- either engine mounts or the exhaust
check the full exhaust system as they are rubbish as standard
air bag lights - wires under...
bought one of them poly bush kits from ktec and my engine moves MORE now looked at the bush inserts and they have swarf in them and dont look machined right, so i rung ktec see if they could help out and the solution was "yeah buy another mount and send these back so we can have a look at them"...
Thanks fred for pimping my wheels!
nice <img src="http://onyxsystems.net/clio/pimped.jpg" alt="pimped" />"
nice 182 colour toora t940's what you guys think?
theres only a small amount of leather in a 172 the sides, backs and head rests are pvc only the fronts of the seats are leather. autoglym is used by many a horse lover for their saddles i prefere turtlewax cleaner £6 and keeps it looking good
they may be multiplexed wiring but you can still take a feed directly from the ECU there are 2 signals from the coil to the ecu pin 1 which is a beige wire and pin 32 which is an orange wire
same connector mate i can assure you i have fitted HID's to my normal clio. im sure matt (j3ned) still has some HID units left his price was the £150 mark each if i remember correctly
your driving in fifth gear all the time even at 30mph? if mine was empty £8 wouldnt make the light go off what year 1.2 is it? might be better off buying a scooter
Because the DCI pully fits exactly in the place where the powersteering pump goes, no meither then, but thicko me didnt think about running a shorter belt, i had it in my head it would grip the water pump enough but obviously it does ala yoz's car
i wanted to know this as i run electric power steering and i 1.5 dci pully in its place but the pully keeps breaking on my 4th one now and didnt even think about by-passing it as fred and yoz have done it now and its running good

fast chip sold the program to BB tuning for the R-sport ecu so there the same. The rsport makes a difference not in power but drivability your able to use second gear more effectivley round corners, although it revs to almost 8k i dont use it that high because theres no power increase after 6.5k
hi guys on your 172 cup it doesnt have power steering , but what have you done about the pump? have you by passed it or running an idler pully for the belt
thanks
