buy a key care policy around 10 - 15 for the year a month into it ring um up tell um you have lost your keys , then go to renault get a key done pay for it send the receipt to the insurance and voila a cheque will arrive!
get it done mine cost 2500 including fk's exhaust and viper + rsport ecu will take a competant mechanic a weekend to do and mine is cheaper to insure than a 172 (for me)
its easy i have changed them and i dont have washers or the self adjusting mechanism they fit in the standard place 3 x 10mm bolts all you have to do is take the front bumper off.
or try one of the many conversion kits around starting at around £250

ok, i get a juddering feeling and a bit of noise when turning left from a quarter turn on, ive replaced the anti roll bar bushes(tw@t they were) and the wishbones are brand new both track rod ends are brand new and both ball joints are brand new so what can it be now?

for it to start as j3ned said you need the UCH , decoder ring ecu and key
you need the whole front end including the interior front part wiring loom its also an advantage to have the clocks.
subframe isnt a must but would be an advatage for the lower gearbox engine mount

A. run poss and neg through the car to the boot
B. run both under the car (outside) into a hole in the wheel well
C. Just run a poss and take an earth from the metal in the boot

and it does work on older engines, no point tipping it down a newish car unless you have been filling it up at adsa

ive put my temp sensor down where the oil level sensor used to live but it needs to go down around 5 inches to get to the oil.
there are sump senders but if your cars low then wouldnt bother. not seen the sandwich plates , how much are they?
1. loc tight can get from halfords or you can get blue sealant that does a better job than loc tight.
2. get a new sump gasket from renault there only a tenner
3. get elf excillium 10/ 40 from renault its only about £4 a litre
