Problem is that because it's not near any suage lines, it'll need probably most of the bumper spraying to get the colour all matched. As said, might be worth seeing what chipsaway can do with it. It probably won't be as good a job, but a fair bit cheaper.
Your best bet is to use the search function mate and have a good rear, there's loads of people who have been looking for advice on buying 172's recently.
£5k should see you get a pretty good mid-mileage example.
ALL Cup's are due their cambelt change if it's not already been done (5 years or...
My God, never thought I'd see Mark asking about the 2 bucket method!
Careful mate, once you start reviewing your car cleaning process, there's no turning back!
I normally use the Poorboys New Car Smell (I think..) but my new car has a Magic Tree New Car Smell and I have to say it's a lovely smell to greet me when I get in the car... I think I'll keep using it.
You can buy tickets on the day, but not sure if it's a separate queue / entry system.
I'd go for the 'hiding in the boot' option... just don't tell him you're parked up and have gone off looking at the show!
I was expecting more along the likes of Clean Your Car, I4Detailing, etc... but yeah, I suppose they operate online to avoid overheads.
Still, would be cool to see one of them there with a demo car, doin a bit of PC'ing and demonstrating beading, etc...
I'm in need of supplies and would...
The paint won't be wet enough and you'll end up marring it... or, you'll drop the clay and carry on using it!
As long as you soak the panel you're working on, and work in small sections at a time, you'll be fine. :)
Yeah, so doesn't that mean I need an AGP if my current one is?
Not interested in spending hundreds on a new PC when mine is fine for what it does but just needs a bit more graphics oomph!
It all adds up to a lot of money for slight gains. It'll probably make it more fun to drive, but as you've said you love it so much already, why not enjoy it as it is and slowly add performance to it as and when you feel the need?
If you do it all now, you'll only crave more 6 months later.
I'm rubbish with the internals of PC's, but I currently have an ATi Radeon 9200 128mb graphics card, I think (card has "R92LE" which seems to be the 9200), but is obviously soooo outdated now that I need to upgrade.
Anyone now what the logical upgrade for this would be, budget of around £50...
Yes, yes, yes. Awesome.
As you say, cut-out tailpipes are so last year... the future is a smaller tailpipe hanging below the bumper for a proper race-look. :)
At that sort of age mate it's going to cost a fair whack unfortunately.
Try Admiral, Bell or Elephant, but I think you'll find they'll only insure above a certain age...
I thought if things were stuck to the inside of the windscreen, then it technically wasn't inhibiting the wiper area? Sounds like a bit of a hitler tester to me mate... take it elsewhere unless they'll do it for free on the 2nd occasion, as some do.
That's a pretty good failure for a 10 year old car tbf mate, simle fixes.
Did you take it to a garage or MOT centre? I'd be surprised if a garage wouldn't sort those bits and stick it through.
Would've thought it would be a great chance to shift some serious product.
If you think how much stuff AG and Megs sell at these events, a more specialist retailer with higher end product would make a killing I'd have thought, especially in accessories such as towels, applicators, brushes...
Did 172's come with cruise control? Also, not sure what you mean by speed limiter matey.
But, no, don't let those put you off. I have never understood the point in cruise control on RenaultSports... If the price is reasonable, then that could be a bargain.
