That's the one I got and it's been fine, I got it from there too.
Best thing is a wireless router, plug the broadband connection into that and then you can plug the desktop into the router and then use the laptop wirelessly.
If you can afford a bit more go for this it's a steal at this price.

Your not using Windows XP otherwise it would be under Documents and Settings.
Seen as your on the topic of this, I'm considering getting this laptop (http://www.meshcomputers.com/Default.aspx?PAGE=PRODUCTCONFIGPAGE&ENT=PRODUCT&KEY=58510&USG=PRODUCT) with the processor upgraded to the next one up and the RAM upto 2Gb and 100Gb hard drive (5,400rpm)

I've completed all that! It's very addictive at times. I've still got my Lexus from the begining and it's got so much more control than the other cars that they give you. It think it max's out at 186 though.
That's correct, it changes the first bit of the file to hex 'E5' if I remember right and then Windows see this as space it can use. This makes it recoverable until it is overwritten with new data but as data of a file is spread over the disk you can still recover some parts of it.
You have to do it twice, or you can use a feature when you do save as which creates a backup.
File -> Save As -> Tools -> Options -> 'Always create a backup copy'.
Have you tried putting it in a workgroup, restarting and then putting it back into the domain. That sort of thing is what I've done to fix that before.
You'll need a patch while you have an account that won't work with it as you need an invite. When you get the invite it enables your account and gives you the link to the software.
