your engine makes peak power at the limiter? unless you have really wild cams the f4r engine peaks about 6.8k iirc. got graphs off my old 182 that show it. the extra rpm with re maps are for over reving for the next gear.

Best rear light upgrade IMO would be ph2 lights. Colour the outside of the fogs red and other colour coding then like danial said a good machine polish and clean. People on here are harsh but I can see your keen ya just need keeping on the right track.
