what client are the emails in and what email account is it? If she uses gmail but downloads them to outlook you may find them all still in her online account ;) If it turns out she isn't and she finds out what you did / trying to do she won't take it lightly.... just be aware of that!

yep Daz, grub popped up during the install so i used that. Booted without an issue :D Have you used ubuntu daz? Do you know why init won't work, is there an alternative?

yeah but be aware that the CD key has to be valid i.e. the one that came with the CD. If you've done any fiddling and obtained another key for some reason or another that it's more than likely that key will not allow you to complete the installation.

You didn't mention the V6... that's the "top" of the clio range. Not sure it's the best - depends on your point of view and size of your wallet :)

Is antivirus needed on linux? I've read that as the default user is not root that the worst that happens if your home folder gets messed up.
