yeah but i need to repair the fron bumper first as the previous owner has scrapped and cracked the bottom of it.
want some smocked or clear side repeaters for it too as well as some silvervisions but i have a serious lack of funds at the moment. ive have to weigh in some alloys and scrap...
havent put any up for a while so here they are
i know there are loads of stone chips on the front bumperand bonnet and scratches on front and back bumpers bad they annoy me more and more every time i look at them but they will just have to wait till ive got the time and money to...
most of the time the new ones are buzzing within a week anyway so is it worth it. mine tends to not go away but get quieter when i push on the light box to absorb some of the vibration so i was thinking maybe a bit of sound deadning might help it.
i would only finish them in primer any way as like you say you would choose your own finish.
as for time it dosent really matter how long they take to make if people think they are crap then they wouldnt be worth the pennies i might get a few guinie pigs and see how things go.
the acual grips got started at about 1.00 pm and where ready for primmer by about 8.00pm ish. this included all the drying times and the amount of flatting i needed to do to the insides of them to get them to fit. that would be another problem if i decide to sell them. as i now have no way of...
not sure yet as ive only just finished them but i will report back.

the fit is not perfect but it never is with fibre glass, as for making them and selling them it is a thought ive had but ill see how much interest i get in them. only thing i would be worried about is people not being happy with the fit once they have got them but we`ll see.
ive made some fibreglass ones and heres what the end result is. not perfect but not bad neither. better than the old ones any way. heres some pics
decided to do them silver to go with the rest of the trim
i wouldnt recommend holding them in place like i did with cable ties because...
