I had a 197 for a good 18 months. Only sold it to bump up my savings for house purchase. I have also owned a 172 Cup, 182 and now a 172 Cup again. Yes, the 197 is a better car day to day, no question. I massively miss the better build, better short throw gearbox, Brembos, better seating...
Excellent!
Love how that Exhaust sits, perfect imo!
For me, i prefer the Cupped 182 rims to Turinis. Also see the 197 wheel mod, which is ace, but do you 100% know if the airbag works? I'm not one of these who are anal about airbags btw, as i normally run a 330mm momo, just wondering what the...
This was my 197, not far off spec wise
I prefer it on the 197, however, the pic above is the best i've seen a 200 wear Albi. Nice colour, always looks different
I would be for sure. Only reason i went back to a 172 Cup from my 197 was to free up money for a house. I only really use it back and to to the gf's house, so that would make the £200 a month for the car + insurance + fuel a waste for me.
:o
Just clicked on this, i was like thats my old Cup lol! I took that pic about 4 years ago!
My curent one isnt far off that now, few little jobs left
^ Always loved this one, hero tbh!
Intercoolers have big(er) end tanks and inlet pipes. The cores must be bigger in an intercoolder too imo! Also intercoolers have to stand more pressure? (boost)
Love it!
Who did the powder coating of the calipers? I've a spare set in the shed i've done silver (painted), but i know how they will chip in the future. Might be worth considering!
Re: 3 Months of Trophy.. Progress thread.
Not really to my taste. Don't get the whole nipple ring look, or the polished inlet thing. Rear brace does nothing, no load/twist in the strut tops, so a bit pointless for me.
Still, looks clean mate :)
