If i wanted a 'warm' hatch I'd be looking at Fiesta Zetec S. We have a 2006 one and for what it is, ticks all the boxes. Nippy well built, no melting steering wheels ;) 40mpg. Win tbh

172 seems catered for in O.E sounding systems. Yozza stealth etc. Stuck to think of any near O.E sounding 182 systems?
One reason i got another 172 Cup. Standard zorts are much cheaper (think Renault want £600+ for a standard 182 system) and more aftermarket suspension stuff available
Its always the R/H side nearest the drivers door window. Imo its the heat of the sun the causes it. The window magnifies its strength. I bet in L/H drive countries the melting is on the L/H of the wheel. Its poor materials tbh. Just picked up a Fiesta Zetec S on a 06 plate for the gf and the...
Yes. Its more than likely poor exhaust fitment though. Usually a simple twist of the system will cure it. Also make sure the exhuast mounts are in good condition

Hate faults like this. Trouble is, it might throw that code up, but it could be anything. Pedal itself, TB or wiring in between. Give all wires a tug around the the TB & pedal whilst its running? Also make sure wires arent crushed, bared to the engine etc?
The boss is different. I think the splines are the same, its the indicator cancel nibs that are different. It wont cancel the stalk. But then you could swap the stalks around too..... hmmmmmm
