    WHAT EXHAUST SUITS 172 BEST ? ?

    Stealths are ok... but I couldn't help thinking the first time I heard one how strange it was to hear an exhaust but not be able to see it. People will think your exhaust has a hole in it. lol. I'm looking to get rid of my ProSpeed.

    I concur. Although the mods Ali (and I!) have done exterior wise are considered a bit of a faux pas on CS these days (Cup Turinis, Cup Splitter, Cup Spoiler) you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer looking Ph2 than Ali's. Apart from the colour obviously ;)

    Yeah. The ECU runs the car as lean as possible when cold to comply with emissions. If you get a remap, GrpN etc is doesn't happen.

    Agreed. Certainly mine does when 'in gear' - The throttle response is pin sharp imho....... but I feel I have to labour the blip of the throttle a little more when heel and toeing. If I very quickly and lightly tap my pedal nothing happens. lol. Having said that, mine seems to improved...

    Whatever. It's the best i can do. lol. If you've got £400 buy one. If you haven't don't. Simple. I've got one, I'm happy with it and couldn't give a s**t if people think it's good value or not. I got one on the back of some advice of a very well respected tuner, not some DIY hero. lol.

    All things being equal (all cars putting out claimed power etc) the 182 will be a bit quicker at higher speeds. But it really isn't much. Where the major differences are is specification, build (yes there are things worse than Clios and Saxos are definitely one of them!!) and safety...

    I reckon the Clio will be a ball hair quicker, but it's going to be very little. The Ph1 gearbox might be your undoing against the tightly stacked 6 speed in the Rallye. And for the record, how much nicer does the Rallye look? Similar aged cars. yet the Rallye looks far more modern. Lovely.

    Re: My GF's 172 is slow as f**k :( Dude. Listen to me. If you want get all anal about what a car should be putting out, the Ph2 Clio 172 weighs ~ 1110kg and is 172 PS. 172 PS is approx 170 BHP. This gives it a pwr/weight ration of 156.6 BHP/Tonne. And that is if the 172 is kicking out...

    All the liquid one needs is some decent wheels and you're done. Seriously not a fan of black wheels. Looking nice and clean otherwise though.
