Car looks great and your plans sound good. What coilovers have you got? Car doesn't look as low as some I've seen, so surprised you're getting rubbing.
I've been to TDI, great guys in there to be honest.
I'd say the centre section (resonator) removal will make the car louder. After all isn't its only purpose to reduce noise?
Mines decatted and wasn't much louder than with the cat in. No emission light either. Yet.
No offence taken.
I personally don't like the look of the 2S, it looks too skinny (in comparison to the 4S). I loved the wide hips!
Plus I wanted all year ability. Drove mine on ice and snow with no problems.
Enough from me on this, lets get the thread get back on topic :)
EDIT: ^GT3 Aero...
I owned a 997 4S for 2.5 years also :)
It was simply an epic car. Ok, not as fun as the 2S but I certainly didn't have any problems with its handling.
I wouldn't own a 2S simply because it looks puney next to a 4S. 911s need the widebody in my opinon.
The brakes are also better on the 4S
So what you're saying is that the 4wd car is not as good as the 2wd car in similar guise. Which everyone knows anyway. Unless it's wet.
Not that its THE worst handling 911. ;)
Sportlines made a really noticeable drop on mine. Really pleased with them! Didn't notice any difference on the road but felt a bit more firm on track. Hard to be sure as I had other changes at the same time.
Trophy is the best package out of the box.
But if you plan to put coilovers on then it's pointless and you might as well get the much cheaper normal 182. Unless you specifically like the image.
Depends what your plans with the car are.
Track days, then get a 172 cup.
Daily driver, then...
Looks lovely that. Some nice little modifications too.
Only thing for me, as you already predicted, is the wheels.
Would look so much better with some smaller OZ F1s. Which are also a bargain.
Holy Sh*t
Surprised he wasn't seriously injured, one hell of a whack. Very lucky!
Did seem to try and push past the Integra when it had clearly lost control though..
