Didnt look THAT quick in the video. 9 second quarter mile is seriously quick. Ive seen a jet car do the quarter mile in about 7 seconds and that looks and sounds 100 times faster than the scirocco.

Sorry miss read that. I'd still fit it on your side. Left hand side. In your boot will be ideal for you. Left hand side means it's opposite side to the engine weight.

Just spray water over the outside every now and again to keep the paint cool. Or even get the Mrs to hold a damp cloth on it. Worked fine with mine.

Sorry if I've missed it. Without reading back through every post (I normally only look at pictures :o) why are you getting it resprayed? Just to freshen it up or are you going for a colour change?

My 182 standard seats also went upright more than necessary.

Sound deadening in the rear quarters still !!

I'd say ideally in the boot on the opposite side to the driver. ​But I put mine under the passenger seat.

What catch tank do you have?

Get some powerflex exhaust hanger rubbers. I had the same problem with mine, now they're perfect. All for 11 quid and a few hours work.

To a breather if the catch tank lid doesn't have one.

Looks lovely. Wonky exhaust tips would annoy me though.
