^ Aye i think its the sun too mate. Just perished the rubber. Mine is quite brittle now.
Im going to Renault UK over the phone before i take it the dealer, as usually Renault UK phone ahead and argue it for you.
I'd really appreciate a guide on doing something like that, any chance he could write one up for it as i might have a go on mine.
Can it be done with just cans of hammerite or does it have to be a proper air brusher?
Guide please :)
Steer clear...!
www.adslguide.org.uk check the forums for Talk Talk. I heartily recommend Newnet - www.newnet.co.uk been in the game for over 10 years and haven't hiccuped once on my £20pm service.
Will be fine mate.
Bare in mind though National Tyres will change your oil for you for £25. That includes 5L of Visco synthetic and a new filter. Cant do it for cheaper than that yourself...
The oil is fine by the way :)
Mines done 53k on a 53 plate, and the right hand rubber has spplit just today, however prior to this it's already came unstuck twice (but not torn/ripped) and i've basically just superglued it down.
Not fking happy about it tearing though, it looks s**t, its annoying as i now keeping catching...
Just an example mate, as i said splash screens usually come with:
Custom cursors.
A million .gif files.
Dodgy font usage.
Poor colour schema.
etc.
By no means is the AWT like that, just if you look at any big corperate you'll struggle to find a splash screen being used anywhere - its old school ;)
HCI = Human computer interface, basically its the user friendliness of the site (Jakob Nielsen was a guru, if you want to know more).
I know theres a skip button, personally its not about me being impatient. Its literally the point that splash screens are by design pointless. Its the process of...
Ben whats the current lead time on manifold reworking? I'd like mine done immediately if possible, PM me if you wish - cheers.
Website looks good, although personally am not a fan of splash screens. Pointless screen and another chance for the user to leave before viewing your products. From a...
Jonas will you quit fking stalking me fella, on a sidenote fancy hooking up for a drink, no women and talk some football at somepoint, don't worry im not asking you on a date lol.
Aye, i want my coilovers dagnammit!!!
Value wise as Apex are cheaper, if you want them for looks and don't mind a hard ride - then indeed they're superb.
If you have an extra few bucks, want a good ride and don't mind losing -5mm less on the drop then Eibachs would be preferable.
Everyone has...
Gary,
Spring wise, go with Eibachs, honestly there is no other spring IMO to rival their blend of comfort and ride quality. Most will provide a hard ride, at the extreme you have Pi/Gmax/Apex who will have you needing spinal surgery if the roads are anything less than perfect.
However...
Were doing a coilover groupbuy mate at the moment for FK setup's. Check the car parts for sale forum (stickied at top), but basically £440 gets your a full coilover kit.
Ive currently got Koni shocks and Eibach springs, good setup. But im bored and want it lower still.
Best springs? I personally think not. I think they make the ride harsh for daily driving. Personally prefer something prgressive like Eibach prolines/sportline, or the Koni springs are apparently good.
Indeed, thats why im planning to keep my K750 now. Its too big, the menu's aren't as intuitive as SE's and the phone offered more than i really needed. I rarely use the web on my phone, and texting on my K750 is a dream :)
Good for some folk though, just not for me tbh.
Just a shame its so bulky, tbh i wouldn't want anything much bigger than my K750i.
Don't get Wifi hotspots around the midlands really, well at least not in hinckley/nuneaton :(
