You don’t half go through some gear within weeks :p

I'm guessing that if you shoot raw you can just expose for the sky and then pull the details from the shadows.

I saw it parked at the side of a small rural road near the cliff walk they have there. I saw a CS sticker, and it was missing the ‘Trophy’ on the sill.

Yeah I've done a few just head on ones on the pit wall with the odd panning shot. I think I'll try a slower pan after the lunch break. The lens is fantastic though.

Didn't spot that one. I'm going to have a go at a stupidly low shutter speed &300mm tomorrow, I'm nipping down to Oulton Park trying the new lens for car stuff.

Major skills to pan at 1/50th @300mm :cool:

Rather amusing typo there haha, but yeah, is there no cropping feature on your computer when you view the image in your photos? If you use Mac then there definitely is.

I own a single cup version of that, the head on it is metal and it feels really solid, I only use it for an action cam but it’s rated up to 1.3kg, so this should hold a lot more, it has held my D7000 (I was hovering below it with my hand just incase) and it felt quite secure, so this version...

Re: Iphone 5 Issues Best bet - go to an Apple shop. The genius bar staff have always been very helpful for me.

Yeah shallow DoF’s really work for your type of work, it really adds to the shot and gives some nice depth. I love my 50 F1.4 for that, but the Canon 50 F1.2 must be something else.

I’ve got the single suction cup version of that for my little action camera, it is rated to 1.3kg though and does support my full camera, I wouldn’t put it on a car though. This one will probably be fine because it’s the double version.
