By the looks of it, they just don't look focused on the subject, the bits that are in focus such as the soil behind the cat are sharp.

I’ve seen that when I was near/in Wales one time, it was supposed to be used as a hotel or something wasn’t it? but it didn’t happen and went to reck and ruin.

I don't have a GoPro but I have a simar sort of action camera that does the job perfectly, but I won't spam the thread dedicated to GoPro's with bumper mounted exhaust videos.

Impressive. It seems that the absence of the AA filter really improves sharpness.

Well if it's no good then there's a fairly obvious solution; if she enjoys taking photos too I think that a better camera is justifiable.

It’s anything that can be interpreted as Urban (not rural). So stuff in cities and towns etc.

The new Sigma lenses look great, Matt! Have you seen that crazy pod/dock think that you can link them to that enables you to perform updates and customise AF speed and suchlike? Looks really interesting.

It’s a really difficult colour to photograph, I looked at some photos online and this seems to be roughly correct, it is more minty rather than a lime colour.

If the lift was broken you’d have a fair walk! I got one decent one, I was trying out the 10-20 mostly, I’ve been there before and got the same photos over and over so it wasn’t worth replicating them again. Liverpool Cathedral by Niall97, on Flickr

I’ve looked at that lens before and I’ve been put off by the Manual focusing. Looks like a great lens non the less though! That Bokeh is silky smooth!

I wouldn’t get rid of it, Dan. As much as the X100 is a great camera is will never produce the sort of images your D3 will. It’d be one of those things you regret imo.
