all right mate thanks for the advice. I'm a designer with access to all the metal working gear etc I would need to I'll look into it, might even make a two seater :rasp:
mmmm wonder if I could get the airbags rigged up too, imagine them going of when you slide into a barrier on GT5 lol
nice but not cheap, overkill for gaming maybe... the juries out. Whats the price of the chair, I reckon I could make one of those, i've got the seats from my 182 as i have just fitted evo Recaros.....mmmmm
Hi all, I'm after a steering wheel to use with my PS3, predominately for GT5 - with so many too choose from I am seeking advice, recommendations on which to buy!
Thanks!
What a handy thread!
I would like to replace the gearbox oil in my 182, can you recommend me a high quality oil please and if possible the quantity I require!
49k miles.
mods include Remap, decat, filter
fast road use with the very occasional track use in the future.
Thanks mate
There is a large piece of metal near the belts on the drivers side of the engine, I believe it stops engine vibrations by being dead weight. If I remember rightly it weights a number of Kg and the cup racers dont have it. You'll have to search for more info, but I know there are fellas on here...
^^ that depends on the car, the 182 manifold and cat really is a doddle to swap, but from what I hear about inaccessibility of 172 manifolds I wouldn't fancy doing that every year!
noise! lol
The decat is the best performance upgrade I have had done (although it came with a remap etc so I cant compare) and mines a silenced with a magnex back box so not a system known for its performance!
Defineatly pulls harder and sharper on the throttle response, nothing but good news...
^^ to true, love the sport badge on standard cars lol
a good friend off mine has an N reg micra, red sh!t box, completely standard, but hes got a Porsche turbo badge, type R badge and a RS sport badge all on the back as a running joke, we tend to add things to his car when hes not looking from...
4x 205/45/16R (182 wheels) for £323.00 fitted from Costco Thurrock, bargain considering local garages which are usually good value are asking £500+ for a set fitted!
Just go's to show costco's buying power, Michelin must have given them a cracking price for a huge order!
if the ticking is coming from the drivers side front wheel arch its the carbon canister and its totally normal, its got a little solenoid in it that moves back and forth causing the sound.
lovely stealth motor! I have been meaning to ask someone about the smaller plates, I don't want reduced text size, just reduced white around it - have you cut your plate down by hand? or is it a 3/4 front plate?
well the popping noise is the engine spluttering, mis-firing for want of better words. I find if I drop to 4th, power through the equivalent rev range that it was doing it in 5th its fine.
