hard or soft waxes doesnt really make much odds. ive used hard waxes over toughcoat, it does marginally increase durability, gives a nice mix of gloss and flake, water behaviour i found to hold up longer and contaminants dont bond anywhere near as well.
toughcoat is so simple to use no reason...
the ez detail brush just last so much longer than its competitors, and works well
envy detail brushes direct from envy £6.79, or ebay, for 5. or wait for the new Autofinesse brushes that look quite nice, no cost yet though
ive only ever used non acid wheel cleaners as heard a few stories of...
envy brushes is what your thinking of?
EZ wheel brush seems expensive to start but you wont need to buy another
no idea what the shampoo is like, but the favourites are always the same, cleanmax, Z7, BTBM, hyperwash, lather. wont go wrong with any of them
476 is a solvent heavy hybrid wax, so whatever you put underneath it is likely be partly removed by 476, causing it to possibly affect the durability. but to be honest it is getting to affect it all that much that i wouldnt use anything underneath it.
alot of people say that a wax adds nothing...
if the patches weren't so random, you would really think they've been having a go at wet sanding. lol
Fair effort with that, I hope they were most grateful in saving the £300 in a respray
Not found Rejuv to faulter with either concours, glasur, titanium or carbon. Much preferred to use it than HD cleanse although didn't quite have the darkening effect.
Try tripple and carbon, I'd imagine on the right colour it would look awesome. And carbon didn't seem a particularly fussy wax...
You applying carbon reguarly again, is it a swirl bus or in decent condition? if applying reguarly and would benefit from the filling the tripple as any affect it has on durability will be negligable with regular top ups. plus it leaves a warmer look.
If you want to apply and forget then...
I heard about the proposed collaboration with either lotus or caterham, but Gordini just seems a marketing tool.
Renault have never stuck to one 'brand' for further performance orientated models, cups, trophy's, R20's then R26R. why the sudden change in marketing what has previously been...
I'd be up for that, but have managed to sell most bits recently I've not wanted. All apart from Glasur, and that I couldn't even find enough people to break it into samples. lol
how much hide cleanser do you want for the 1/4 bottle of amigo. I use very little of it now I've sold the clio. have a 500ml bottle I can decant it into and send over if wanted
washing and drying with a wax safe PH nuetral shampoo will not overly affect your wax. it is at the end of the day a sacrificial layer that will slowly wear off so try and limit this affect as much as possible. SRP and other grime removers will speed this process up so do.nt use them until youre...
my thoughts exactly! toughcoat will add a little to the finish but also keep it looking like that for longer. therefore not needing to use tripple for at least 2 to 3 months. makes washing the car much easier
bilberry as with most wheel cleaners will not remove baked on dust, for that you will need an iron remover, say approx £20 for the pair, or £23 for C5, not 40, and you wont get baked on brake dust. how much did you pay for your new wheels?
guess it depends on how much you want to care for your...
dont use a wheel cleaner, simples
instead of spending time trying to remove the brake dust, why not seal the wheels properly so the brake dust wont bond to your new wheels. and all that is needed to remove dirt and dust is simple shampoo when you wash the rest of the car
have a search for...
