Ha, no chance! you can come up and use my products and I'll sit their with the kettle brewing. I've almost got the full range bar lower priced waxes so take your pick.
A good idea to get their trader section started
it did seem very buttery, but i rubbed the pad around the panel first and seemed fine. I just hope the finish stands the claimed 6months, as it all seems too easy for it to perform that well
no pics buts looks very nice. rest of the car is wearing tripple topped with toughcoat, cleaned so well i put down another layer. did the rear door with power seal and front door with their prototype. power seal was by far the best looking finish.
there youtubes vids looked like they used a...
Got round to trying power seal via rotary today. Very impressed with the finish. good flake and gloss. and the panel feels so slick. doesn't need much working into the paint either, so much so I thought there has to be more to it than that. Will be testing it alongside AF new prototype wax so...
its a great product, that i generally use in a detail.
a pre wax cleanser is very good at lifting dirt from the surface, have very minimal fillers and abrasives so enhance the finish a little. but more importantly leave an ideal base for waxing over.
what do you use before waxing at the...
when did the sponsorship happen? missed that!
The guys and girls at AF are top people, are always helpfull. It's bits like this that will encourage my custom. It's also helped by the fact their range aren't half bad!
They'vesent me a new prototype wax sample to try out, so will report once...
have you had it on any test cars yet?
I'm quite interested in it's water behaviour on a dirty car, whether it repels well enough to almost self wash when driving in rain or heavy standing water. eg my wifes car with tripple and toughcoat had plenty of dried dirt and mud, but was 75% + gone...
for those with a cheapy basic PW like my C110 Nilfisk it probably works better as the pressure isnt quite high enough to create that thick foam that the really good washers create. but i still got the cleaning power.
would i use it over CP, probably not but i think i can see myself using it...
got round to trying out AF Avalanche today. car was treated to tripple and toughcoat 3 to 4 weeks ago and not washed since.
now i didnt get that much dirt run off in the foam as it was well stuck on, initial once over with the pressure washer didnt really touch it either. what it did do is...
tough prep is pretty good at cleansing, especially on silvers an leaves a good base and will help extent tough coat. tripple would be better for filling duties
id suggest C2, seems to hold out better than 1.5. is very good at self cleaning when driving in rain or wet conditions. simply to layer or dilute as QD. i washed with permanons omega and hectra mineral and organic remover and it was still present. needed a mechanical abrasion to really remove it.
not used or know anyone that has, but seen reports that if something was to touch the screen it removes its properties and condensates on the parts you've touched. not sure how true this is or how it affects durability though
i just did, sorry Toby. kind of feeling like im bullying you now.
on a serious note, how often are you going to get your hands on it and after what kind of miles each time?
