i got the exact one for half the price , cost me 210 fitting , hence 600 quid all in :approve: if anyone wants to check mine out before spending the good hard earned cash , let me know . i would rather spend 20 odd quid to check if its worth the money before investing in the transplant

yep , but getting one 2nd hand is the problem , seen one go on ebay for 250 ish , but not forgetting the link pipe or cat and fitting ???

you've already got the ktec sports cat , so manifold swap would be easier for you :D

all std 172's are 4-1 manifolds

no changing to the ecu , but you cant fit the 182 manifold without a ktec sports cat , otherwise its 172 decat with link pipe to the exhaust system

ok ....the original 172 is 4-1 , the 182 manifold 4-2-1 , but i would recommend getting the inlets done too .....(my next project) as 10 bhp ....you'll get about 3 to 4 from the mani transplant but will look at about 600 spending . i would recommend it though as you'll feel the improvement...

i know the stainless steel has a life time guarantee mate , but only for the original customer you , so i believe when you sell it on the guarantee doesn't go with it , just a point of concern you may need to enquire about , may be just hearsay though :eek:

yeah no probs on the decat mate ..... you can sell the 182 manifold for 200 quid easy ;) but i would get it fitted , defo a worth while mod , ....well so is the decat , but everything helps

try heating it up with a hairdryer then peeling it if possible , then use the ag tar remover

you are better off ringing him as well to find out about special offers etc :cool:

its just a cosmetic , you dont really need one ....but i think it looks pretty :o

No , not on a computer database unless you use the dealership for your services , then they will have a complete record of everything you've been there for .

speak to fred or BenR .... i believe there is a link pipe you can get to fit . will cost a bit to fit as well , mine cost me 210 fitted for the manifold and ktec sports cat

i thought it would be easy , you can program the fob to the car from new , you just need to find out the sequence of turns ,presses etc

wot he said ^^^^^^^^^^ then i personally would get a cheap alarm fob , disect your original one , put the circuits in and reprogram it to your car , you can get fobs with plain key for about 50 quid if that , programming aint hard either , you follow a set series of instructions turning they key...

i'd say 250 delivered or 200 collected , giving the incentive to collect

boyz ....dont remove it ....lmao :eek: its your external temperature guage for when your display will indicate how cold/warm its is outside , normally on the passenger side

only use it to remove stubborn stains , does get glue off too

yes they can invalidate your warranty if you dont keep within the service paramaters , you are allowed 1 month past the service requirement i believe
