Yeah i'd reckon so. Mines ran on V-power or Optimax since i bought the car nearly 2 years ago and i've never known the oil to get very dirty at all....fair enough i change it every 8k but still, less combustion residue means cleaner oil.

2002 52 172 Cup on 35k

Mine doesn't seem to change colour very quickly at all. In fact its done about 2-3k since the last change and the oil still looks the colour of honey. The wonders of V-power maybe..

When mines good its very VERY good...and when its bad its horrid! Overall mine is pretty easy to live with...but then again it gets lots of my attention so any problems or noises seem worse than they actually are.
