Speak to Rhino172 off here...he clattered into a REAL length of cable (when he had his valver) that some chav's had put accross the road between two road signs.
Being dark and a country lane he had no real chance of seeing in and stopping in time...the result was one of the signs uprooting and...
Well i've managed it but the conditions were rather biased towards it happening.
In the wet, on a huge deserted roundabout. Was rather club footed with the throttle so the car went from lots of power understeer to lots of lift off oversteer very quickly!
Yes but im talking about the wet roundabout tactic. Its crude but effective as a starting point.
Of course the initial understeer isn't pretty but we aren't all driving gods are we?
A large, slightly damp roundabout at 2am will do the trick. Be prepared for lots of understeer followed very quickly by lots of oversteer when you jump off the gas.
I shall be on the lookout for the thread with you saying you put it backwards into the scenery though.
The question you have to ask is if he has the stupidity to post up proof of him doing 150 is he of sound mind to be in control of a car that can do 150??
If you insist on spending that kind of money on a "lifetime" paintwork protection then ignore Supagaurd, most definitely ignore Diamondbrite and look into Autoglym Lifeshine.
But at the end of the day, as Rich said, just stick to decent polishing and sealants and you'll be better off.
Yeah but i don't see anyone labelling 197 owners as "stuck up"...altho it seems Seb is fighting very hard to attain this label.
Why now, just as he has a 197, does everyone else become a chav for having a 1*2?
Well ive only read bit and bobs on this thread, as quite frankly i can't be arsed to read it all...after all this is simply another SS (Seb Special) Thread which basically is Seb on his soapbox slagging off the 1*2's and then deperately defending the 197 ....are all the 197 owners this...
Yeah...common as muck the black ones....;).
I'd have to say Racing Blue or Inferno if i had the choice but then again i saw a Liquid one yesterday and it looked spot on. Rare beast though.
So you picky about what colour or are you happy with any? Judging by the pic im guessing a Racing Blue with stripes will be at the top of your shopping list?!
Stoopid cars with torsion bars. And i'll have you know Stephen you cheeky Khunt, i've fitted enough new springs and shocks to do it right so fook you funny man....just never played around with Mk1's....and tonights pantomime with his sodding car proved why i won't hurry to again!
Well this reg you are giving is incredibly close to Ant's on here. hisis a black 182 and his is LY54 XSK so either you are still out with your reg number or its another black 182 with a very similar plate.
See thats the cruel twist. I've done all servicing on mine since i've had it. Oil changes every 6-8k, coolant change, brake fluid change, the lot.
Not a Renault stamp to speak of but ALL Reanult receipts for bits, but if the cambelt goes pop tomo on 35k and with another 7 months till its due...
For road use, no i don't see the point of throwing that much money on say H&R's but they will obviously come into their own round a track.
I've put Eibach Pro's on my Cup and its worked wonders for me. Less body roll, more reactive front end but alot of people ignore them as they are more...
