yup, you want the best, you do need to have to wait, only a short while tho, as BTB is nearly done.
your looking at around 950 for full manifold back system, which de-cats the car.
a few spy shots... not best quality or size, but you get idea!!
indeed, saxo unfortunatly is no more, but the clio will take its place!
Website will be up asap, and as soon as we have 182 back with BTB system, we will be taking orders!
in this day and age, engines are so strong, that a 'thrashed' engine will still last forever!
and as said, if anything does go wrong, then its warranty time.
bit naughty of them not to say tho (if they knew that is)
marky - BTB will only be availalbe through us (shed motorsport). And basically we need a few people to buy to get really good prices. As for fitting, can be done by us, or any local garage could do it, if your not confident with a spanner.
If you want the very best money can buy, you wont go...
if you want more power, then forget 'custom made' systems, they are more likely to loose you power.
BTB 182 exhaust system will be ready very soon. Our car is in at moment having the prototype made. They need the car for 10 days, need info like the bore, stroke, exhaust valve lift etc. This...
john - i understand that, but thats on the front only. we are talking about the rear. and as i can see the rear prings just sit on the rear beem. there is no adjustment.
can someone point it out to me on this pic......
i wouldnt say no to a new Fiesta, nice little cars. And if you wanted a bit more power, aBTB manifold and system will release about an extra 20bhp (proven) so you up to 172 power already!
no point keeping rear seats if you put buckets in, as its nie on impossible to get through to the back!
If you really wanna loose weight, get rid of everything, all plastic trim, carpet, roof lining etc.
Replace the essentials (seats, steering wheel etc) with lightweight stuff, then get...
just going back to the first page....
'It's all the same VTS/106's have two cams and only when its reved does the second cam come in.'
are you aware of how wrong that statement is? Like the 182 engine, it does have 2 cams, but one is inlet, one is exhaust. They both run at the same time...
has there been any back to back testing with this exhaust, to see what power increase it gives?
The BTB which will be available soon, should show healthy increases. They have just complete a Fiesta ST system (manifold, sports cat, system) which gave a 23 bhp increase over standard.
cliobuyer - for sure, this kit will be made for track day enthusiasts. It wont be market or designed for the max power brigade (especially sseing as most mag featured cars run standard brakes!!)
sure, its so hard to please everyone!
Tho must admit, it seems 172/182 owners seem less likely to spend on thier cars. Maybe as its a slightly older generation? Where as from the world of saxo's, where i come from, there are more cars with 4 pot kits than standard!! lol
AP tell me that you will need to run spacers to fit a Road Calliper, but excellentt if they can make a kit that wont. As many people are put off by having no seals.
Although if you look after them correctly, this shouldnt be an issue.
As for the 4 pots, i thought that at first, but the...
7MAT - thats what i am asking, what would you want to pay? as dont want to get a kit made, that costs around 700 pounds if no one is willing to spend that sort of money on it (despite being good value!)
AP already do a kit, but due to wheel clearence they use a race calliper, which has no...
