the volve 480 engine is a renault engine so actually mounting the engine in your car should be pretty easy its just the hoses and exhaust that will need modifying.the engine is a variation of the f type engine which the clio rsi uses.maybe the radiator and hoses off an rsi would come in useful...
newer clios(newer renault 16v engines apart from the 172) have a small precat just after the exhaust manifold and the main cat under the floor before the centre section.
you need to remove the large top nut/bush to remove the shocker from the turret.there is another nut under this that holds the shocker togethor.undo the two 18m nuts and bolts to release the strut from the hub assembly.with the strut removed you need to clamp the spring with some spring...
disconnecting the battery is the only thing you can do at home.dealers can lock the system with the clip which is what you should do.leave the battery off for 10mins before you start so it gives the capacitor in the airbag computer chance to drain down.
looks exspensive.ive got a clip program its just the can box between the laptop and the diag socket that i need now to communicate with newer vehicles.it works on older vehicles as the can box isnt reqd.will check the pin locations for you.
on the front of the engine near where the sump and the block join togethor on the right hand side.quite close to the oil filter but lower down.the connector is pointing up.
will have to check the pin locations.the can box is needed due to the multiplex network.do you have a can box then? you can load the clip program onto any laptop.
every 6000 miles-oil and oil filter

cambelt every 72000 miles or 5 years.
every second 36000 service change engine coolant.
kkk do make variable vane turbos as the laguna 2 has one on it.the 80bhp engine had an intercooler whislt the 65bhp has not and thats the main difference between the two.older versions of the 80bhp had a wastegate turbo but im sure the brand new ones now have a variable vane turbo now.
