You'll need to swap the cancel pin from your current phase 2 stalk into the phase 1 unit for the indicators to cancel. The horn is two spade connectors on the bottom of the stalk plug, on both phase 1 and 2 units

Press the little black button on the steering cowel, until the red led comes on. Ultrasonics will disable, then stop you being woke up at 3am! You only forget once :(
Aye, other half has a standard 106 GTI, love it! She used to have a VTR, i think they are a good drivers car, plenty of lessons to be learnt about handling imo. Just a shame loads fell into the wrong hands :(
